I just don't get these players you know. Why? Is it the money?
I know right! You're filthy rich already! You got money for decades!!!!
If you really do love the sport and want to keep on playing then go play for actual football clubs with actual fans, not workers told to sit in the stands

Go play in India or in japan, Algeria and morroCo have decent leagues too. Football is obviously not why they sign for clubs like al anzhi

A glorious day which could be even better if he is gone weeping.
One day before the final. People told me I'd start panicking about now. I still think we will win this.

But even in those countries.. I mean, Xavi is used to playing big games in Camp Nou in front of 80 000 spectators. I'd rather sit on Barcelona's bench and play 30 minutes a season than play for Al Whatever.

And I get it with Becks and Del Piero. Becks always had a thing for America and I think Ale just wants to see the world. But clearly Xavi isn't interested in seeing Qatar as a tourist.

No, it's the climate, the women and the challenge.
But think about it: they already have millions. Maybe in the case of South American or African players who try to support huge families it makes sense.. But a lot of these European players were never poor to begin with and are now incredibly rich.

It doesn't make sense. Even if they earn 'just' 1 million per season and if they have huge families it's more than enough to have a great life.

It's for the money.

Some want to play and won't get that 30 min playtime at a big club. Trezeguet wanted to play he went to Argentina, je went to India. Ronaldinho wants to play he's in Mexico, some just want to play and aren't ready to retire yet.

India doesn't get your blessing?:D

I'm happy for the Indians, their league is developping and the fans are loving it, hopefully they will grow to become a significant part of the footballing world.

3 month tournament. Its a separate competition from the usual football league season.
I'm not exactly a fan of this concept but its getting great exposure and attracting a lot of big names to the country so i cant complain
