Welcome to the forum, don't mind the banter. But I can tell you these fans on the tuz mean no harm. You're welcome to stay around post the final too. You'll also see that these guys have been through the ups and downs that this team has been through. So we are true old school fans not glory hunters you'll see across a lot of money clubs.

To answer your question, Barca are big favourites for the game, on paper anyway. I think Juve are mentally in good shape, and hoping they can turn around their odds in a final. It is our eight appearance incidentally. If I had to add a percentage, I'd start with a 60-40 in Barca's favour, however, if the game stays goalless or Juve start well, I would imagine that percentage could switch almost favourably. Good luck for the game.
Why the fuck did you wish him luck? Explain yourself!

I was dumped by my gf today in a horrible way, she told me had feelings for another guy. My heart hurts badly I have to admit, but If my beloved Juventus wins tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I will be healed because this team is all I have now, my old lady is the most beautiful thing in my life and right now our players are the only people I trust right now.

I hope we win for the sake of my heart and other fellow juventus fans like you guys.

Forza Juventus!!! The one thing I will always have for life!

I am going to an all day handstand workshop the day after so what I am really hoping for is that Juve finish their business and lift the trophy in regular time.

I'm guessing the pessimism is like you say more a self defense mechanism. But oddly enough, there are times or some matches, where you kind of wake up feeling a certain way in a good/bad way. What are you feeling this particular time? The reason I ask is, because while everybody has Barca at overwhelming odds on favourites, this final has us in so many ways as a unknown quantity. We honestly don't know how strong or how weak we will be at the true summit of Europe. My heart obviously goes with Juve for tomorrow, somewhere, I feel destiny and serendipity, I guess I take heart in some coincidences like Berlin, perhaps the law of averages for Barca always winning finals and us always losing em. But again, there is a lot of measure in emotion because I don't want to get carried away with soft statistical coincidences.

One thing though, that I feel a lot of experts and players have missed out on us the psychological aspect of the game where I feel Juve are hungrier, and more of a team in that sense, where they will sacrifice for each other. Barca have been in this position before, and this time, while they are stronger than ever, I also think/feel they're more about individuals than a collective.

I don't know if I'm pessimistic about tomorrow, but I am pragmatic. If I was to call this, as per the way I read us and the Barca way of doing things, I can see it as a stubborn slugfest, where Juve will start controlling things the longer they go on. Also, like you said if we get off to a good start, this team has the maturity and intelligence to build on it, rather than hand the initiative back to Barca.

All this said, there's just too much emotion at stake and I don't know how to deal with it. Whether I should stick to my superstitions - sitting on one particular sofa, in one particular set of clothes, with the lighting a certain way etc., or share it by calling some friends over to help absorb the palpable energy.

Anyway, all this said, you still didn't answer which way you see it go? Be it head or heart.
It's a roller coaster for me. First I think about winning and my stupid mind says - Nah, it's too good to be true. I'll be happy for years to come with that victory.

Then I think about losing and my stupid mind says - Nah, it's too awful to lose another CL final. I'll be miserable for years to come with that loss.

So, I'm trying my best not to think about it too much, but I already have a headache. I'm surviving right now...

:weee: :scared:

Please unbann Fr3sh. We need him for the victory.

Whether it be nostalgia or hope I havent had a feeling like this since 06, that feeling where I don't see us losing..Man I hope that feeling is right. The players seem calm.

Great video
When you think of it, we have many first-team players with lots of CL experience: Buffon, Evra, Pirlo, Tevez and even Morata already had one CL final.

These players will give more confidence to younger ones.

I've refused to watch any build up to this game of any sort due to the fact of it being a massive Barca wankfest. So haven't given myself the chance to savour the fact we're in the final. Up until now.
Hope Allegri gets this right. I really do. My mind is saying it could go either way, 1-0 to Barca at half time or 0-0. Its gotta be the latter as we got to get into the Barca heads. I can't see us taking the lead from start to finish. Final is a one off game and its a complete headfuck. Here's to hoping for a freak early wonder goal to set up this tie.
