Rio Ferdinand analysed it very well yesterday about how Bonucci gives Lukaku a little space then forces him to pass sideways or go for some magic backheel or assist that rarely works. That extra space that Bonucci allows Lukaku means that it's hard to concede a penalty and harder for Lukaku to dive if he were to do so. The one moment at the end of the game Bonucci loses concentration and gets too close to Lukaku because he wasn't paying attention to where the ball was coming from. As a result, Lukaku turns him and gets a shot away which he misses the target. Lukaku was able to hold up play but we tracked the Chelsea runners well so there were never any moments where they could run onto goal.
