Really insecure about this lineup, really lacks strenght in the mid wihout Matuidi. If Moussa Dembele had a great game than Kroos will rip us a new one.

Max knows our midfield is $#@! and can't compete with their midfielders! he is trying something interesting but we don't know if it's a good idea.
I think his idea is to defend in two banks of four a la Atletico or Chelsea and hit them on the wings with AS and DC.

442 with more natural wingers has been our best lately by far. Changed the games completely vs Spurs and Milan.

Formation and lineup hardly a surprise. With Matuidi off form/tired, it was either Ben10 or Marchisio, Barzagli or Rugani, AS or another winger at LM.

"two banks of four" :D

We've defending using 442 shape for two seasons now.
We basically play a pure 1990's 4-4-2 every match unless Dybala is hurt.

It's not even like Atletico's because their strikers traditionally drop into midfield. Especially their prime team with Costa/Raul Garcia that almost won CL.

Gonna be tough, line-up seems strange to say the least but maybe that's what is gonna take to get a positive result tonight, good news is that it looks like we got a couple of good back-up plans in case this formation backfires, the team could potentially only improve further into the game having the likes of Matuidi ,Cuadrado ,Marchisio ,Mandzukic, Lichtsteiner, Rugani regardless if we eventually aiming to switch our tactics into holding on to a result or possibly having to go all out atack chasing a result.

Let's do this, FINO ALLA FINE!

Blaming individuals is very fair in this game. Chiellini is at fault for at least 2 of the goals. De sciglio was at fault for letting isco get past him, but what fuck was chiellini doing?

On the second goal, WHAT WAS CHIELLINI DOING?? AND both him and buffon are at fault. Are you fucking kidding me?

This game was once again all individual errors.

As a team we played well overall. Allegri did a good job tactically. This game sums up the mindset and mentally fragile "our oldguards" are.

Fuck off buffon, chiellini, and barzagli. In btoh Juve and the national team.

Cl is over, we had a decent run but our team needs to get rid of these shit players
