Because of him being slow? Tbh i don't see much difference in pace between those two, Rugani is also painfully slow. If it was Benatia, yes, but if it's between Barza and Rugani i'd go with experience.
Yeah Rugani is not reassuring either. Honestly seeing Barzagli in that Bonucci goal made me worry even more. He's 36 and not as athletic as he was before.
I too think our undefeated record is in real danger of being broken

I'd take a 2-2 happily no questions asked(even if it's a less favourable result for us)
Anything more than 2 goals and we have no chance in the return leg. Madrid will play Atletico in between the games so I reckon they'll go all out on Tuesday and look to win convincingly.

And Bentancur is a baller compared to a donkey like Sturaro. It may not be the same case but all im saying is it won't hurt if we give him a chance to shine. He's coming off two excellent performances for his NT afterall.

I'd have as many athletic and energetic players in the team as possible in a game like this.
Barzagli was one of the players that ran the most against Milan, 10.4 km or so if I recall correctly and he's still able to do good sprints. For the CB position I'd trust him (as opposed to RB) ahead of Rugani. The latter is too gentle Ronaldo would have a field day against him.
