I was just watching on television a sport documentary on juve and milans roads to the champions league, and the final still greatly burns. I will never forget how conte hit the cross bar, or how buffon pulled many herioc saves in the match time. Or the sheer agony when shev-f***ing-checko scored the penalty.:frown: We had the better run to the final aswell.. we beat madrid and barcelona, while milan beat lowly ajax and had to rely on the away goal rule in a very shady match. I mean, if the venue was the other way, inter would be in the final. Now what i want to ask, is how long realistaclly till our next final? And this time, i dont want to be humiliated infront of loads of milan fans.

I hear you :( I've been scarred for life after that loss

When can we see Juve again in a CL final ? could be next year, could be 5 years from now who knows ! The CL is so unpredictable.

Milan deserved to win the final by the way they played, but there's no denying that their road to the final was shady at best. The played some impressive matches in the group stages, but were seconds away from being knocked out by Ajax, and relied on the away goals rule in San Siro

As for the question of how long till our next final, that really depends on the signings we make and their integration into the team. Hopefully the likes of Legro, Appiah, Miccoli and even Di Vaio will adapt to the team and step up their game.

Milan deserved squat. They didn't even deserve to be in the final let alone win it.

This thread is going to make me sick all over again  The whole Nedved missing the final issue will crop up sooner or later

I hate Dida.

my friends were there, all milano fans, and it was toutorous!! :broken: I just broke down when we lost the final, and did not come out of my room for 2 days, just reading all the match reports the internet has availible. I was stupid enuff not to look up a juve forum to share my pain with though..:frown:

We also needed the money for finacial reasons, where as milan, being owned by the president, could not win a cup for 30 years and have no fiancial problems. But of course, it would never happen, knowing how shady milan are. I reckon their champions league exit was because belusconi felt he didnt have to bribe depor, cos he thought they were already through. Only money wanting fiends usually join milan, and the team spirit is made by their fat paychecks.

I was just watching the highlights of Juve's 1996 CL season on Eurosport, and man, was Del Piero good back then. Sadly, he's nowhere as good now :frown:
