Big time. I couldn't believe the praise being lauded upon what is otherwise considered "negative tactics" and "bad, boring football" if it came out of Lega Calcio.
It's why I don't like Atletico as much as I used to. I understand their tactics and I'm not against them at all. It's what they need to do to win. But I don't understand most of the praise these guys are getting. From all the European top teams, they play the most negative football by far.
Simeone was 2 seasons at inter and won nothing. then he left them for Lazio and won a double in 2000 while also scoring against them in the coppa final. then he scored on 5 maggio against them

For a neutral fan, Juve and Atleti play pretty much similar. The difference is Atleti don't spend as much as Juve, yet play with higher defensive line and therefore less negative compare to us.

This is absurd. Not that I'd consider teams playing counter attacking football negative, but Juve clearly spends more time at opponent's half than Atletico.

No. You're very wrong. Just look at our two games against Bayern. Also consider that besides our back three everyone is involved in our attack and that we often play with two strikers (a rarity these days).

Let say you watch game 1: team 1 host team 3. Team 1 defend deep and only play counter attack. And team 3 attack most of the time . You would ask yourself: what's wrong with team 1. They're just as strong as team 3 then why they don't come out and attack?
And then you watch game 2: team 2 host the same team 3. Team 2 don't park the bus. They fight tit for tat with team 3. Still defensive but higher line.
As a neutral fan, what do you think about team 1 vs team 2?
