I don't think AS would destroy Lahm at all. Lahm is probably the best full-back of his generation. He is offensively very good and defensively a rock. The man has been a beast for Bayern and Germany for many many years now.

AS is very promising is a very good player but it will be a few years before he can be in the same bracket as someone like Lahm. I think you are being ridicilous in rating higher than arguably the most established fullback in the world. I expect Sandro to someday be as good as Maicon used to be but even that Maicon was barely any better than Lahm. He was better offensively because he was a beast but defensively Lahm was on a different plane.

I honestly think Bayern has the best full-backs of all the teams and they will soon need to find another Alaba for Lahm's position (Germany has the same problem now). Lahm is an all-time great like roberto carlos and zambrotta imo.

You are confusing things here. Lahm is a legend based on his entire career, which was stellar, but in the last several years he is not THAT good anymore and AS would have field day going at him. In 2016 AS is the best FB in the world while Lahm isnt even among the top 5.

Atletico never outplayed Barcelona though. They were smart tactically and pounced at the right times, but the difference in quality was evident. Such was not the case with Bayern and Juventus.

What Barca really lacks is good options off the bench. They don't have any attackers besides MSN who could make a difference. They also lack the work ethic compared to other top teams. Against Atletico Messi ran just over 7km in 90min and Barca as a team was outran by 14km.

Ofcourse both Bayern and Madrid play the 2nd leg at their home ground,so predictable.

Ideally i'd prefer a City-Atletico final but i think it will be City-Bayern imo.Real dont look that much convincing,probably the best team City could draw.

On the other hand,i'd be happy if Atleti won but if they go through,it would be a 'what could've been' moment for us.We'll be reflecting more on our loss if that happens.That Evra tackle will come back to haunt us again.
