Lazio were like lions tonight. Hope they keep it this way in Germany as well.

Coulda been 2-0 there if not Anderson's miss. They had plenty of space there.
Actually, they had like 2-3 big misses in this game. Klose had golden opportunity to score in first half but he hit the post, then in the second half Wendell stopped the ball heading straight to the net. Keita should have scored that. I'm pretty curious how events will unfold in the second leg, in Leverkusen. Bayer had had bigger chances before this competition has started, but now it seems that the shoe is on the other foot.

Yells at the reporter for asking if the result was fair
clams they had a great game until "the fucking goal" happened
looks like he is gonna cry, trembling voice, "there is gonna be a return leg"
the way she was asking that question though :sergio:
i would have left without a word.
btw.

when the commentator said:

Candreva eher der vollspann typ, Biglia - der Mann mit dem feinem Füßchen, i almost lost it

Club Brugge just had a defender sent off, bit theatrical from Chicarito. I suppose they will get another one now in the last 10 mins.

Brugge are a neat team but they clearly don't have real quality to hurt teams. United are lucky for that because they aren't impressive.
Brugge is EL level, not CL.
No team in Belgium is, just watch Gent in the group stages, and you will know why I said this.
United put Fellaini on just to fire balls into him, classic.
It worked.

The best part was the commentator talking about Italian stadiums. He was like "you could get stabbed there", like that shit is happening 24/7
Yup. German commentators are pukeworthy to say the least, always have been, with Bela fucking Rethy having the most punchable face of them all. Rarely know their shit across the border.

All commentators have a certain bias in these kind of games, but there is something about the way they do it.

Very glad Leverkusen lost, I hope Lazio hold on next week.

With such arrogance by the Germans one hopes Lazio finishes the job. Need to deflate the ego of these pill pushers, who have the attitude of the other bayern when they are mediocre.

But the racism bit is reported by many, it's not something to talk down or take lighty, were making quite audible monkey noises in begining of the game according to all reports/the ref. To the point the announcer was saying cut it out or the game will be suspended, after ref told him so. Lazio need to take it seriously, but apparently played it down/shrugged it off (Tare said it wasnt racist, but just trying to scare the opponents?). Will never grow out of this type of embarrassment if its dealt with such attitude. Uefa will sanction them soon most likely.
