What i mean is this.

During the last CL games in the group, i usually had faith when we played the bigger team(s). But was very aware that juventus allways struggles a bit against minnows. We arent build to dislocate a parked buss. So i mainly said that.
You should remember that Lion.

Currently there are some fears about us getting a bad draw. I know we play best against teams we consider good. Meanwhile, it doesnt hurt to radiate some confidence to negative people. We didnt got in the final on luck.

So there you have it. We have reason as fans to be optimistic in a tough group, because the players will be humble and determined. Motivated as highly as they can
Sorry this was a wee while ago but I wanted to say that surely we are built to unlock organised defences? We do it every week in Serie A. Grinding out results was the trademark of Conte's team, we changed our gameplan against Madrid and were nearly successful while against Bayern we tried to grind and got completely outplayed.

Allegri added a dimension of counter attacking to our style and this served us well against more attacking teams such as BvB but we still needed to grind against Monaco for example. At this point I'd fancy our chances against all teams but Barca regardless of that team's individual style.

Actually no. We arent build for it, we just grind it out.

Teams build to do that, tend to easely win such games without too much efford.

Our entire team's strength is killing opponent's creativity or gameplan, and impose what we want to play or counter

Not sure where to put this, so i'll put it here.

From livescore.it "wich team wins"

My reasoning was that it depends. Blue has an incredibly shitty midfield when it does not have the ball. Red can basically walk towards Blue's defence, and it will controll the game rather easely.

However, Red has an incredible shit central defence. Kompany cant defend as a unit when his life would depend on it, Ramos is horrible in 1v1, and Pepe is horrible at anticipating. Blue on the other hand, has pretty much the best central defence in the world, with 2 very good wingbacks.

Blue could sit down on its own D line, with 5 defenders, have Cavani do tons of defensive work (think eto'o in 2010 inter), while pirlo can just launch it to zlatan who could reach for the speed of ronaldo. This very potent counter would greatly expose blue's shitty defence.

Conclusion, Blue wins if its clinical on the counter, Red easely wins if they are not

Suarez wants FIFA apology
By Football Italia staff

Luis Suarez wants an “apology” from FIFA for an “excessive” ban after he bit Giorgio Chiellini during the 2014 World Cup.

The Uruguay international was caught on camera munching on the Italy defender’s shoulder during their crucial group game and the 1-0 result eventually knocked the Azzurri out.

He was barred for nine games and not even allowed into the stadium to watch his team’s progress.

“When the Diego Godin goal went in, I didn’t celebrate the way I would’ve done,” Suarez told Fox Sports Radio in Uruguay.

“I realised what I had done was wrong and I knew what could happen. In my view, FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee know my ban was excessive and at some point I’d love them to apologise and admit it was the wrong punishment, just as I admitted when I was wrong.”

However, in the same interview Suarez admits he even lied to his own wife about biting Chiellini.

Uruguay tried to defend the forward, arguing he had 'fallen’ on to the defender’s shoulder, but the video evidence left few doubts.

“When Tabarez announced the sanction, I tried to be strong, but the tears were inevitable. Someone can make a mistake, but to say 'you can’t even enter a stadium’ is incomprehensible.”

I can't believe he wants an apology for FIFA. We lost to this guy :sergio:

Imagine Zambrotta or Thuram coming out today demanding Juventus apologize for 2006.

Didn't one of them actually do that?

3 Points behind EPL should be able to catch them and take the 4th CL spot for 2016/17, there's also a big point difference between 2011/12 that will be wiped out, giving us more chance to take the #3 rank.

I don't think Italian teams will repeat what they did last season where at the same time the EPL teams having the same terrible regional season.
