I haven't checked the stats but I think the numbers would be very close this season. Ronaldo's goal percentage to Real's total and Griezmann's to Atletico's total.
Griezmann has 7 goals of a total of 13, which comes down to 53% of the goals.
Ronaldo has 16 of a total of 23, which comes down to 69% of the goals.

That's still a pretty big difference.

And you can add to that the obvious fact that Ronaldo has scored more than double the number of Griezmann's goals, including a hattrick in a game his team needed to win 3-0.

Obviously both are important, but it's safe to say that Real would be nowhere without Ronaldo.

EDIT: by the way I'm a huge Griezmann fan, I think he's one of the best strikers around and I rate him very highly.

You do realize that scoring in a 1-0 is much more important than scoring a hatrick in a 4-0 though :D

Anyways, both are individuals that incredibly and yes sometimes single-handedly drag their teams forward in term of goals. I hope Dybala can reach Griezmann's level of decisiveness in europe soon enough... Hopefully, before Gigi's retirement.

This.. this shit gets brought up so many times.. I can't even..

Ronaldo scored a hattrick in a game Real needed to win 3-0 to go to the next round.

If that's not important I don't know what is.

First, that was a joke...

Ronaldo >>>>>>>>> Griezmann and everyone else in planet earth except for Messi.

When did I say Ronaldo's goals aren't important? I already said that I see Griezmann's importance to Atletico matching Ronaldo's to Real. So why are you saying that Real's progress all depended on one man that is Ronaldo and not Atletico's all depended on Griezmann.

Dude. You're going in circles. Atletico have a very decent team with a good finisher. They need the finisher, obviously, but the rest of team has actually performed very well. Real Madrid have been subpar all season, but kept alive (barely) by an insane Ronaldo.

Everybody who actually watched Real Madrid THIS SEASON knows what I'm talking about. You lads know nothing. I'm just wasting time here.

I find it absurd that Modric' contribution is reduced on a few goals. The guy is vital for their build up. Not quite the same with and without him.

Dude. Stop the bullshit. Of course Ronaldo doesn't do everything from defending to goalkeeping and it could be argued Modric is one of those players who has at least had a decent season. But Real Madrid are a one man team as much as a one man team can exist in football. Ronaldo scored 70% of their goals. 70!

Can it be that Ronaldo is the their most important player, obviously since he scored 50 goals, but Modric has proved to be indispensable in the middle? The guy who organizes their midfield and gets the ball to the final 3rd. This terribly reminds of situaton when people underestimated Makele. Different player than Modric but was equally important cog in the wheel and once he left, all those superstars started to underachieve.
