I really think Madrid is the best matchup for juventus out of the three, bayern and barca like to play from the wings, also have flexible players in the likes of neymar, messi, robben, thiago etc... Madrid actually plays more a physical football with many long balls, set pieces which suits juventus more in my opinion. This will be closer than many people think, it will be no easy run for madrid. Juventus can hurt Madrid, stay compact with a good defence and try to hit them fast when you have the ball, the switch from defence to offence will make the difference, and this battle will be decided in the midfield, the likes of vidal and marchiso must win the battle there against kroos and isco, and deliver to tevez and morata. Madrids defence is just good when you give them the time to settle, which our mistake was last year, playing the ball back and sidewars was wrong, you must win the ball and then surprise them, no fear of going forward, attack after winning the ball, and I believe tevez or morata can surprise them by playing fast and direct... its important to attack them, if juventus decide to hide deep and just defend without fast approach they will get knocked out just like atletico. They are vulnerable at the back, fucking Schalke put 4 against them in MADRID, dont forget that!!!
Good post.

Modric out, Benzema out, Bale injured. Take Ronaldo out and Juventus is a better team. With Ronaldo it's even.
I have to say I disagree. I'm the most optimistic fan out there and we should definitely play to win, but Real's roster has far more depth and quality than ours. If we were to miss Marchisio, Tevez and Pogba at the same time, we look average at best. That being said, we can win this.

:agree:

The quality of their bench rivals our starting 11 easily!
But I do believe we can win this with the right set up, and with Marchisio, Vidal and the rest of our players being at the top of their game. Press them hard, suffocate them, hit 'em hard on the counter, we can do this and hopefully Bonucci will give us another goal! :D

I think we're a very tough team to beat. Our weak point is Chiellini IMO. He either plays exceptionally well or he fucks up four or five times during a game. He fucked up against both Dortmund and Monaco, so my hopes are not high.

I want to see a Bonucci-Barzagli pairing, but with that I feel that we might miss out on Chiellini's aggressivity, Bonucci nor Barzagli can bully a player like Chiellini does  I don't know, it's gonna be a tough choice for Allegri, regardless I know he will make the right decisions.

It's the midfield that we need to secure though, if we play with Marchisio as a DM, vidal and pereyra in the mid, Tevez in the AM spot, Morata and Llorente up top, I'd like to see that but I doubt it'll happen.

Chiellini's problem is that he doesn't think, you can ready his body moves and know that he doesn't know what to do most of the times, it's a shame because physically he's top and has outstanding stamina, had he had a brain or used a bit of it there's no doubt he would have been on par with Nesta, Canna and the likes.

Vidal also has to step up, his role is so important he can make a difference but not recovering psychologically and he's missing too many easy chances.

I think it's also a matter of general clumsiness. The way he slipped against Monaco was clumsy rather than stupid. With the penalties he concedes too I think it's a matter of clumsiness rather than the want to make a foul.

Either way, I consider him a liability. I wish I didn't, because I actually like the guy, but to me he has been awful for a very long time now.

We should "man city" them. Madrids defence is all nice when its standing still, but horrible when moved forward and have to readjust their positionning
