I agree in general, though as mister said when I was discussing the same thing with him, this approach is probably not going to be as feasible with Monace as it was with BVB. Monaco, unlike Dortmund, play with an extremely deep line of defense themselves are therefore much more protected against counters themselves. It's very different from BVB pressing-based approach.
