There is no hiding here. We are the favorites , even Buffon and Vidal mentioned it. If we cant beat Dortmund, we might as well stop competing in the CL for some time to save the embarrassment.

Apart from Real, Bayern ,Barca and Chelsea. I rate us at 5 along with PSG, City and ATM.

How are people saying its not a good draw? I mean its all relative obviously, as none of the teams you're going to get are easy, less so when you're second place. You guys dodged Bayern, Barca, Real and Chelsea, that alone makes this an amazing draw. I mean I'm sure you'd have loved to get Monaco :)D) but Dortmund and Porto are still good draws for you guys.
I think you are right, but most of the fans want to be cautious about the draw.

You guys do realize that we are meeting the reverse-Juve, while we are great in the league and shit in the UCL they are great in the UCL and shit in the league.

I do realize that it could have been worse and i do understand that we got lucky but certainly this isn't a walk in the park, i mean i don't see us as favorites here, i would say it's 55% - 60% Dortmund vs 45%-40% Juve, we need to play to our max potential to win this which is something we haven't done ever since we got knocked out by Chelsea when Ruinieri was coaching as back then we had a garbage squad and yet pulled some amazing results, before that the last time we performed in Europe was in 2003!!!! so let's be realistic.

You're presuming Reus won't reinjure himself in that time. That dude's been a wreck lately.
Actually, it has more to do with all those tackles he receives. Especially the last one against Paderborn, which was an outright assault to his legs.

Kampl is more of a central midfielder with some attacking tendencies. I can't see him going to Dortmund because they are pretty stacked in his positions, unless they use him as a winger like you are saying. In Slovenia he is linked to Leipzig and Leverkusen which seem more probable to me, but I don't really watch Bundesliga.
Well, he can play all of those positions and Dortmund's the team mostly linked with him in Germany right now.
Leverkusen was interested as well, but Völler already stated that they won't buy anyone or can't pay the price for the guys(Kampl?) that would be an upgrade.

how did the BL allow them to buy a club with the 50+1 rule? also, whats that bull$#@! with their name. they didnt allow them to call themselves Red Bull but Rasen Ballsport instead?
Well, they also had to reinvent their logo to be allowed into the 2nd division.

That 50+1 rule will fall at some point, cause othere teams won't be able to compete if there are more Leverkusens, Wolfsburgs, Hoffenheims and Leipzigs. Another team of that category's Ingoldstadt(Audi) who are currently at first place in the 2nd division.

Also, they've already bend the rules a bit for teams like Hannover(billionaire Martin Kind can own most of the club because he's active there for over 20 years), Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg, Leverkusen and even HSV(billionaire Kühne gave them a loan, as they wouldn't have received the licence for the 1st division with their own finances) which helps those compared to the other clubs.

and Khediras brother Rani plays there btw. i heard he could become better than his brother :D
Rani's not at Sami's level. Though, he might become a solid Bundesliga player.

We have a good chance to beat Dortmund. Also, Reus is not really killing it this year. ..
Bundesliga: 7 games = 3 goals + 2 assists
CL: 2 games = 2 goals + 1 assist
German Cup: 2 games = 1 goal

So all things considered, he has 7 goals and 4 assists in 11 games.
