I'm surprised there is only one comment on this. I actually think it could be a crucial change for Juve. Right now the coefficients ranking and the way pots are sorted out is all about stats quo for the biggest teams. That change could be actually Juve's chance to significantly close the gap with the biggest clubs out there.

The competition would be more unpredictable too.

that only explains which teams would be seeded at 1st pot. what about the other 3 pots? pot 2 for example. champions of other leagues bar top 7/8 or 2 placed teams in top 8 leagues? also, is it known yet if teams from the same country could play in the same group? im curious how they'll arange this...

UEFA will not jeopardize/compromise any formula that guarantees it money. I'm sure they will find a way to get their favored teams going far, to ensure prolonged interest in the competition, and more money for the fuckers in charge.
