why do you keep downplaying this team? i dont see anyone worth his salt in this board claiming juve is CL champ material, but with a good addition we could really trouble the best of em. even last year we player toe to toe with the eventual champs.

Regarding my "downplaying" Juve (at least Conte's version of it) - well, you could see it that way or you could see it as me laying out a harsh and inconvenient reality rather than sugar-coating it with wishful thinking. Which part of what I have said for several years now has not been eventually backed up by facts of Juve consistently falling short in Europe? Is that really "downplaying" or just calling it for what it really is?

. Obviously that's not true for everybody here but I'd say a good majority. And I am gonna go out on a limb here and say that the ones who were, and many still are, most delusional about Juve's true potential in Europe, are also the ones who'd be first to laugh at Celtic and their fans.
