I see :D

Personally, I see Eden as top 10 in the world, though he should slightly step up and be more courageous against big teams, his talent though is not to discuss.
I agree.

Imo so far hes been the best player in the premiership this season. Would put him above the likes of Aguero, Sanchez, Costa and Cesc.

Mind you Alen probably agrees too, hes just too proud to ever admit it. You know how he is :p

Above Sanchez? Don't know, but definitely above all the others.

Definitely.

Aguero would most probably be on par with Edem and ahead of names mentioned but the man is always injured and really unlucky.

He was surprisingly reasonable:

If you don't know to defend your goal from set pieces you can't go through.

They were a better side, played like a team and deserved qualification.

Ibra told me it wasn't a red, I was too far away to see.

He wasnt reasonable, if you read it all, you could see the smug arrogant attitude thats just indirectly making excuses for his failure:

PSG deserved to win,” said Mourinho. “When a team cannot defend two corners, and concedes twice, that team doesn’t deserve to win. When a team cannot cope with the pressure of being with one player more playing at home, and the stadium doesn’t accept the team has to control the game and want them to go on and win it… we couldn’t cope with that pressure. For them it was easy: 10 men, defensive organisation, two lines of four, long balls for the counter-attack, waiting for free-kicks and corners. Mentally, for them, they had nothing to lose. They were experienced, they were good, and they deserved it.

“Clearly some of my players couldn’t cope with that pressure. The individual performances were not good enough. When you concede twice from two corners, it’s about a lack of concentration, a lack of responsibility to cope with the markers and the space you have to control. So we deserved to be punished with this draw. Sorry, this defeat.”

I don't know if it was done on his instruction. Probably yes. But whatever's the reason, it was shocking to watch how Chelsea let PSG have the ball in the last 5-6 minutes. Those guys couldn't run, couldn't walk, couldn't breathe. Chelsea could simply waste time, because PSG didn't even have strength to complain to the ref. But they gave them the ball and decided to defend deep in their own half. Incredible. I thought only Italian teams are capable of this.
It was 100% due to his instructions, it was obvious, it was their gameplan since first minute. He even complained in press conference the stadium/fans couldnt understand they had to controll the game, and had the nerve to shout that they should go for the win. This says everything about his dogged approach.

I'm only talking about this season, Aguero has been injured for a considerable amount of time, and he had a goal drought after he came back for like 5 games. Obviously when hes on form i rate him higher than eden tbh, hes a lot more decisive and has destroyed some big teams at times.

Meh I like to have a nice round of hyperbole after a bad loss

Everybody knows my actual opinions on players. Llorente is legit in between a pair of wingers, but shite elsewhere

Tevez won't carry our asses through Europe.

Marquinhos PSGs 3rd choice CB wouldn't bench our CBs.
Only defender of ours that I would choose to start over Marquinhos is a healthy Barzagli, thats it.

Marquinhos is great and is obviously going to be a superb CB one day, but he is wasted as an RB. Thought he was pretty average against Chelsea last night. Still a young guy though.
RB just to get play time really because the Luiz and Silva duo is complete tandem understanding wise. Marquinhos is still green but his qualities is that of a world class CB, quite clearly IMO.

Marquinhos at rb is a safer option than van der wiel and probably aurier. Especially when faced against hazard, I don't know if blanc did this on purpose to neutralise hazard or to provide extra cover for the error prone luiz

Aurier is injured. I think Blanc preferred marquinhos in order to neutralise Hazard

No doubt.

Btw, do you think Arsenal can turn the table next week in France?

The thing with putting a mobile central defender at right back is that you at least get a solid defensive option, even if there is some risk defending the far post, due to positional unfamiliarity.

No side has ever progressed from a CL knock-out tie having lost the home first leg by two goals. And it's even worse considering they conceded three goals.

History can always be made, but it's obviously very small a chance. They probably need to get into an early 2-0 lead and cause panic, or benefit from a red card or some poor officiating.
