Watched a "Champions League special" on norwegian tv, and when they got to the Juventus-Dortmund fixture they started chuckling at Dortmund, deeming it incredibly easy for Juve to go through. Finishing by saying "the best team in Italy should definitely beat Bundesliga's 17th placed team comfortably" :sergio:

I am now convinced we will crash out.
we will crush dortmund. it's not even funny.

they have zero tactical sense, and their players are made up of midtble quality at best. hummles and subotic will shit their pants and having to man mark morataand his pacey direct runs. and pogba will have a field day against gundogan

of course i am.

so many of you underrate juve after that disaster campaign last year, but fail to realize that sot of thing happens to all clubs. that doesn't mean we have to hold oruselvs to that standard for the rest of eternity.

that and dortmund are a joke of a club

You have a problem with ppl underrating Juve alright yet you and others are the same ones that behave as though passing through to the round of 16 is like winning the CL in itself.Doesnt this constitute underrating the team as well ?
Reaching R16 for a team like Juve is a given.Allegri's litmus test will be against BVB.
If we cant qualify or AT WORST we cant even notch up a win against them over two legs then Allegri would've added nothing different to the club or sparked a change as far as cl is concerned.

It shoud be easy. The ranking of both teams says it all. Other than that I have always found many Dortmund players to be overrated. With the exception of Reus I see little potential in their team.

They rarely know about players outside England, its what made me hate all the Arsenal forums I've ever been to. The amount of ignorance about and obnoxiousness towards players outside the EPL is alarming.

Verratti

Verratti is awesome. Should have been sent off yesterday though. Reckless, unnecessary challenge.

No way that is a straight red. One stretched leg which completely missed and he just kind of tapped him a bit with his right leg.
It was reckless and endangered another player. According to the rules that is a straight red.

Besides, it was silly to even contemplate such a challenge.

The lunge was dangerous, but the actual tackle motion was a regular one with the top of the boot, he sort of pulled out of making a full lunge. If he had shown his studs in the tackle it would obviously have been red. The still image of the tackle is deceiving as the trailing leg is the one showing studs.

The more I think about the encounter and the more I hear about what journalists say about it, the more I am convinced that we are going to crash out. Everyone is favouring us it's ridiculous, we will most probably make fools of ourselves.

Most definitely stupid of pundits and experts calling us major favourites.

Yes, Dortmund are in some shit in The Bundesliga. But it's clearly mental and not something they seem to bring with them to the Champions League games.

Dortmund's fast pace and direct play is something that could make our defenders look like old boys players. I think their style of play is the least suitable against our team. I would prefer playing against tiki-taka as an example any day.

That said; I think we are minor favourites. Something like 55-45 is our favour.

Vidal and Pirlo will be key in the games. If they play like they have in major parts of the season, we'll likely lose. If they perform we have a good shot at qualifying.

If dortmund are so shiit, they wouldn't pass their group in the CL as group winners. Yet our superior team finished 2nd in our group.

People in 06/07 season wrote Milan out from Europe because they were amongs 5-7th placed teams in a really shitty Serie A. Yet that shiity Milan ended up winning the trophy.

Never underestimate a team that has nothing to lose.
