It has changed a bit, though. If Shakhtar held the draw and beat Nordsjaelland in the next round, then they would have qualified or won the group one round before the end. The match against Juve would have been completely meaningless for them. That way we could have played a draw vs Chelsea and have a solid chance to win against a completely disinterested Shakhtar. This way, as things stand now, a draw vs Chelsea will mean a MUST win against a Shakhtar team that will play for their life. Even more, in Ukraine, in front of their own fans.
