If City don't make it, they might have a chance at the league again. Although with Van Persie, I doubt United let it slip up this time.

ManC really really needs a new coach.

Lavezzi for Menez... things are heating up big time in Porto.

 Lavezzi gets destroyed on a run, the ref waves "play on!" and Lavezzi's like, "Whaaaaaaaaa?" on the ground.

Milan's group is pretty even with a strong 4th team in Anderlecht and 3 teams with very equal chances of making it thru - Malaga is having a great season this year and is performing better than people expected while Zenit is performing well below expectations in Europe but both these teams will likely top Shakter and would have been declared favourites over the Ukranians, at the start of the season.

Your group has a pretty weak 4th team and two clear favourites in Chelski and Juve, while Shakter weren't given much of a shot at the beginning of the year. You guys, however, did manage to make them look like f-ing Barca, when in reality they are a team that has made a name to come short and play third and even fourth fiddle in their CL gorups over the years.
So, all in all, your group may be strong - with the presence of Chelski in there, while Milan's group lacks a clear top favourite - but so far it is you that is making it look more competitive than it should be.

this being said, I think people are overreacting here with just 2 rounds into the group stages and I expect Chelski and Juve to go thru with a game left to play - given enough time, smart money says Shakter will find a way to self-destruct, as usual.
