I'm talking posession battle. Without good protection they well get pwnt by Vidal, Asamoah and Marchisio. And our CMs and DMs outclass theirs about 50 fold.
That may or may not be the case. We will see. I was merely pointing out that one of Hazard or Oscar may likely be playing over any of the 3 you listed.

Mata ain't that good.
Neither are Hazard and Oscar.
Yeah, these guys are all shite. Cool story bros.

Hazard as a CM will work great..they have to play 2 minimum. Probably Lampard and Ramires.

Mikel and Ramires most probably.

I'd revert to a 4-3-3 (or 4-5-1 whatever you wanna see it) with Mikel Ramires and Lampard, maybe Romeu.

Ramires - Mikel - Lampard (Romeu)

Hazard. Mata

Torres

Your sarcasm detector is broken.
I don't care...regardless Vidal will break him. RW, CM,ST, GK anywhere he plays it don't matter nigga is gonna get hurt.

@Gabriel
How do you think the whole group stage will go for your club? You think you'd get 1st place? The only time I've seen Chelsea play this season was against Athletico Madrid, and neither of us can say they played well :p

I searched a little, don't know if it's true but I heard they will probably use 2 CMs.

Not really.

Neither of them are terribly useful.

What was a mistake for Chelsea was to go and spend 25m on Oscar when they should have got a CM/DM.
When you compare not buying one with the Oscar money it's obviously not much of a mistake but the fact they just let them go with no replacement was a definitely a big mistake IMO. They are really lacking the DM and holding MF department now.

I said what I would do, Di Matteo keeps playing 4-2-3-1.
What is the most likely option then?

We will keep the 4-2-3-1 shape, that's for sure. Di Matteo has used that since he took over.

Now, the players I can't tell you for sure, he tends to shake up things a bit (in regards to central midfield and one of the wingers)

I'd say any of these is likely

1:

Cech

Ivanovic Cahill Terry Cole

Mikel - Ramires

Hazard Mata Bertrand

Torres

2:

Cech

Ivanovic Cahill Terry Cole

Mikel - Lampard

Ramires Mata Hazard

Torres

I'd say the first one is better for us but the second one is more likely to be what we end up playing.

Simeone on how to beat Chelsea
By Football Italia staff

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has explained to Juventus how to stop Champions League opponents Chelsea.

The Old Lady will travel to London later this month on their return to Europe’s premier club competition.

And after thrashing Chelsea 4-1 in the recent European Super Cup tie, Simeone has revealed their game plan.

“The players followed my orders to perfection,” the former Lazio and Inter midfielder stated. “Branislav Ivanovic on the right can be surpassed, Mikel plays horizontally, Gary Cahill and David Luiz never participate in the construction of the game.

“So we opted to press heavily, even doubling up and tripling up on Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard and Juan Mata – opting to neglect the others.

“It was a risk that paid off. Juventus can do the same, even if boss Antonio Conte doesn’t need my advice.

“He’s a winner, like Manchester City’s Roberto Mancini, as well as the greatest of them all – Jose Mourinho.”

Conte is being described as the Italian Special One after leading the Old Lady to the Scudetto in 2011-12.
