Yeah.. That was my point. Udinese to save Serie A. Or maybe that in the long run Italian football will loose out if they do not manage to get a strong and competitive league, where four teams participate in Champions League. Italy already falling behind.
Also, Zlatan and Thiago Silva surely were amazed by Ligue 1 attractiveness... It's money that counts the most in the end. Besides, being the only power in the league doesn't mean there must be a one-horse race, see Bundesliga. And with Moratti and Berlusconi around we won't be the only power in Italy anyway.

Bundesliga has always been like that but not Serie A. We need a strong Serie A, with 5-6 top clubs and get back those 4 CHL spots. That will bring money to the league and it will attract foreign top players again. Regarding the corruption, I can bet my house that other Football Federations are as corrupt as the Italian but the media.and society in other countries hide it very well. As for Juventus, we will always dominate the Calcio, be it strong or weak.

And where do the money come? TV-deals, sponsorships, sold out stadiums (that the clubs owns), merchandise and so on. Do you see Serie A excel in those areas?
But let's leave it here. You think Juventus will be stronger with the ten million and I thinks it's short term thinking like pissing your pants to keep warm.
Juve's strength in the Champions League will determine Juve's attractiveness to top players, Serie A's competitiveness has got minimal to do with attracting top players.

I don't see Serie A excelling in there. But when we're courting a player like RVP, we're showing him our modern stadium, not Chievo's one.
I believe Juventus will be stronger with 10M more each year than with 10M less but with Udinese or Roma in CL, yes. Reaching quarters or semis of CL year by year will bring us back the reputation and attractiveness we had and at the same time more points for the coefficient than a Udinese would gather in CL's group stage matches, in which they'll field their deep reserves.

Nobody says we surely will, but there's a significantly bigger chance of doing so with 10M more to operate on the market. It's an Armero instead of De Ceglie/Giaccherini in the starting 11 difference.
And there's a significantly smaller chance we'll finish 4th in the league when there's a bigger financial distance between us and other teams, in our favour.

The 10 million will never add up to the money Juventus will lose with worse TV-deals and sponsorships, lack of CL football (4th place) and sale of merchandise. Italy is in a terrible financial state and therefore the italian Juventus fans (and sponsors) are no longer enough. Serie A has for years now lost market shares to England and Spain.
I think people are exagerrating a bit with this Serie A reputation bullshit. In my eyes, currently Serie A is only behind EPL and at least equal with La Liga.
