Sorry, but that's BS. Berlusconi didn't destroy football when he was buying everything that moves in the late 80's and early 90's. Noone had a chance to buy a football player if Milan wanted the guy. Back in mid 2000's Abramovich did exactly the same thing Berlusca used to do, just that he didn't have as much success in Europe.

Milan had history though, Chelsea had nothing at all, and spent like 150 million in one year dude

I commented earlier on the amount of corners each team had, it was stupid. Chelsea just kept heading corners out all game, it was really weird because they scored with their first. Robben took the record number of shots in a single Champions League match this season with at least 15. Ribéry's final ball was poor.

Huge credit to Di Matteo because I'd forgotten they won the FA Cup as well, I'm happy for him.

@LowLife I'll get to you tomorrow about the avatar, let me think about it :D Stunned I won this.
A month or a week? I can't recall! Please no Boriello or krasic!

Had Drogba won the African cup of nations, he'd have a good case to win the Ballon.

Fuckong Robben, he had to fuck it all up. Bald choker choking on bald dicks.

It might be true all the time but not tonight. Go watch the match again and you'll see what I mean, they wanted to score all on their own.
i thought they want to pass it until they get in the goal with it..they didn't shot enought especially in the 2nd half. robben though dribbled every inch of grass

So you're saying that it would have been excusable if Abramovich bought Notthingam Forest instead of Chelsea and made them a force by buying everything that moves? Berlusconi didn't spend 150m in one summer, but what he was spending in late 80's is the equivalent of what Abramovich was spending ~17 years later. In 5 years Berlusconi beat the world transfer record 3 fucking times. When teams were buying players for 2-3 millions tops, he was offering 10m. That's like paying 80m when all the others offer 25m.

It's your hate for the EPL that makes you say this. In essence it's the same thing the Italian teams did when the non-Italians didn't stand a chance against Parma's, Lazio's, Milan's, Juve's and Inter's money.

I've got to say, I'm glad Robben is no longer a target. Immense talent. But he has got to be one of the most selfish players I have ever seem on a football pitch. Didnt play for his team at all. And with him I blame Jupp Heynecks. Why would he take. Muller off with 7 minutes to go immediately after he had scored, and affect the shape off his team? That move changed the game. Pretty sad. Credit to Chelsea and RDM for playing to a plan and holding up till the end. An overdependence on Robben lost Munich the final tonight.

Why didn't you mention Milan's history before Berlusconi?
