Jorge Jesus:
"Maxi Pereira's red card and the penalty make no sense. We do not understand how decisions like these are made in the quarter-finals.

"We were clearly damaged by the referee."
Don't think those calls were wrong to be honest, I do agree that the ref wasn't good though.
"We have defeated better sides than Chelsea in the Champions League," the 57 year-old-said.

"When you reach the quarter-finals, anything is possible, but Chelsea will have no chance against Barcelona.

"We are the ones who deserved to play against Barca."
Now this is just bitterness :p

the PK was a good call, imo, as Garcia didn't seem to even try playing the ball. Maxi P has himself to blame for the RC and JJ should be abit more gracious in defeat - Benfica did put out a very good performance but they hurt themselves with the Maxi P RC and the missed numerous chances over both legs.
The ref may not have been great - too many YC I think - but, from what I saw (missed about 25min of the game here and there), don't think he made any bad calls that directly affected the outcome of the tie.

if this happened to Juve tonight, do you think milan fans would be in uproar at the officiating? highly doubt it. I fail to understand why some are so bothered about it, it is not like Juve suffered from it, up untill now it has been milan that has been benefiting from officials in the league and nearly every week we cry in uproar, now it has happened to milan in europe all of a sudden we should pity them? perhaps it is just my firm belief in karma, but untill we actually play barcelona in a competitive game their 'favouritism' from officials shouldn't even be our concern
A bit late, but..
