Shaqiri's not very good technically?
He's indeed very good, but Giaccherini isn't bad either.

He said rich man's, anyway. You just have to make a right comparision. Like Abrahamovic with some doctor or something like that. :D

didn't even mention about their physicality, as for the 2nd bit i have no idea what the hell you were trying to say there only that you seem to think that i said giaccherini is at the same level as shaqiri which is NOT what i said.
When you make a comparison, you have include all aspects of the game. You said he was a rich man's Giac, so you mentioned physicallity, even if you didn't want to. And no, that's not what I thought you said.

physically wise, there isnt much of a difference in their height both have a an advantage of a low centre of gravity

Giaccherini - 1.67 m

Shaqiri - 1.70 m

From what I saw Shaqiri's also pretty at dribbling through the center, crossing, beating his man one on one, assisting, passing, etc. A lot more than rich-man's Giaccherini
So what you are saying is that he looks handsome dribbling?

Napoli did well to hold their nerve. They looked much better once they knew they had to win. Seemed uncertain at first, wondering if they needed to show the aggression to win the game or if a draw would be enough.

Good to see an English team finally get punished for years of complacency in the Group Stage. Man Utd really did deserve to go out since the only team they managed a win against was Otelal.

And nice to see Italy have more teams though than any other country.

Any word from the Balkan members as to whether Dinamo-Lyon was a fix? I don't expect proof, just a general feeling.

Vidic may be out for four months.
That'd be the end of Man Utd's season.

Benfica.

I think we have a slim shot to get the semis, with a bit of luck. Aimar and Pirlo raise in me similar thoughts. I just can't think of Benfica/Juve replacing them straightly in the future. They're one of a kind.
Cardozo.

Shady game, plus with Ajax having two good goals ruled out you never know.

I saw a picture of a DZ player winking after Lyon scored a goal.

Lets hope Inter or Milan get Real Madrid. Seeing how things have been going the last few years with the Italian teams always getting shitty draws in the playoffs, I wouldn't really be surprised.

Thats what I was saying in another thread, Italian teams always get fucking tough games in the first round of the knockout stage.

I fully expect to see Barcelona V Napoli and Real Madrid V Milan...Inter will probably get Zenit or something

Arsenal will end up with Basel
