Man City are possibly the first team in years to not qualify with 10 points from the group. Villarreal were shite enough to be a walkover for everyone.

Bayern
Inter
Benfica
Real Madrid
Chelsea
Arsenal
Zenit
Barcelona

vs

Napoli
CSKA
Basel
Lyon
Leverkusen
Marseille
APOEL
Milan

What's even worse is that if Italian teams keep failing in EL then Italy will lose another seat.

They probably expect Juve to finish 1st or 2nd each year. What a nonsense.

I hope Inter, Napoli and Milan make the quarters and Semi's.
Not really. It's not like German and spanish teams are doing very good job at Europa Leauge. That shit leauge/tournament is for third world countries

This is how it should be done, fuck the TV money and all, Champions League should be with champions playing in it, not some 4 placed teams. I would love if they would revert to the old system Champions Cup, no pussyfruiting in that system just the best of the best.
Don't worry about what it 'should' be. Even if they tried that, the top teams would form the Superleague.
