Not sending off Aquilani for a non existent penalty isn't exactly pandering.
Xavi went down easily like Hustini, but he was still being pulled back. Could've went either way, so not really surprising who got the benefit of the doubt.

Anyway, I don't care. Milan are on their way to a whitewash and that makes me happy.

It shouldn't have been a yellow card at all in the first place.

Lion coined the concept some ten years ago, be a bit more creative :D

I thought it was offside too.
I'm pretty sure whichever barca player was at the far post (messi?) was offside. I realise he didn't touch the ball and it was Van bommel who got the OG but he was clearly interfering with the play by putting pressure on Van Bommel.

Ambro should have started for this tampon girl.
He hasn't been as bad as MvB was in the first 30 min or so. I would have started Nocerino and keep Aquilani as a fresh sub for Seedorf, who is unlikely to last a whole game as he just came back from injury.

Anyways, Milan has been 2nd best only in the moments after the PK - needless to say another backing by the refs there, you guys have eyes and brains of your own - as the team was flabbergasted to see their effort go down the crapper. Other than that time-window, with a more 'normal' MvB in there, Milan has been doing pretty well.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Pato and Ambro come in soon, as MvB is on a yellow already. Nocerino could end up subbing in Seedorf later on.

P.S. There was a claim for a handball in the area after a Seedorf cross from a foul on Boateng at the PA line. Did you guys see that and was there something legit to it?

Yes, it was Xavi and as you said, it doesn't matter at all that it was Van Bommel who touch the ball last.

:sergio: I knew I was missing another midfielder I couldn't remember Nocerino. Nocerino or Ambro would have been better option than Aquilani.

Van Bommel was awful this half but at least the man got some stamina in him while Aquilani can't breathe after 30min of play.

Sometimes I wonder if this whole Serie A is in decline and Germany is better is just talk. I could never ever see a team other than Bayern Munchen doing what Napoli did yesterday. The worst thing is though that Dortmund will probably end up going to the Europa League and win the whole thing while Napoli would play their reserves if they ended up in Europa League.
Its because the Bundesliga isnt of higher quality than Serie A, and the only reason they are beating Serie A in the coefficients is because of terrible Serie A performances in Europa League.

It might be a controversial for some on this forum to admit, but it is what I think is true.
