Nesta is pure class  MoM
Nesta- 11 out of 10 today. AMAZING.

Almost impossible to look like that vs. Barca at his age. Fucking amazing. Didn't make even one mistake, stop everything- balls and opponents- and reminded me why he's one of the best defenders in history. Still shocked from his performance, really.

I don't agree tactics-wise - Mourinho has always had top-notch players to work with and has managed to give his teams a winning mentality - he sure knows how to get the best of his players - but his tactics, unless he decides to play catenaccio, have been sub-par, not his best attribute by a long shot (refer to Rafa the waiter if you on't believe me ;) )
Would love to see Allegri, Carlo, Hiddink get their hands on the players Mou has had the chance to work with
The same Inter team who beat Barca several times and completely raped their weak sides, lost 5-2 to Shalke only 6 months after the special one left. Galliani is a great coach, but I think you are jumping the boat a bit. Mourinho one step better than every coach right now, and I wouldn't even consider Galliani to be a member of the highly prestigious group right beneath Mourinho.

You mean Allegri. But I agree with you.

considering Mou probably get's a hard on just by looking in the mirror, I am sure he would consider it as an insult.

anyways, it'a all a matter of opinion after all - unless there is a way to see mou do any better with this Milan squad than Allgeri has, 'cause I am sure Allegri wouldn't have gotten his ass handed to him 5-0 with the team that Mou had last year ;)

When you consider that Avram Grant did something Mou never did at Chelski - reach the CL final and doing so by beating Rafa's 'Pool - and would have won the title if not for the points lost at the start while Chelski was still under Mou, I'd say lot's of people are overestimating Mou's tactical abilities.

P.S. btw, I am not on the Allegri bandwagon as I criticise him when I think it's due on milan forums, to dislike of some people ... just calling it as a I see it, no Milan-fanship involved there ... you should have seen me knocking Leo, wheile he was a coach :)
Mourinho is not the best tactician of the world, but Allegri isn't very special either.

I don't like him at all tbh and I think he will never succed in europe as long as he keeps picking lumberjacks instead of footballers. I mean, Pirlo "doesn't fit" in his ideas, but the likes of MvB and Ambrosini do... wtf?

Btw, it felt very well to know that Nesta still has his touch. Beast everyday of the year, best defender I've ever seen. :touched:

I am not saying Mourinho isn't a top coach but over-hyped, especially as a tactician. The Inter example works but so does the Chelsea one - moral of the story - there is way too many circumstances in play to make a proper comparison.

anyways, I also don't consider Allegri a top coach yet, he is still an up-and-commer, that doesn't mean he can't be better than the current top coaches, does it -after all, all Lippi, Capello, Carlo, Mou, Guardiola, etc, etc had to start from somewhere.

Allegri won't be regarded as a top coach until he wins a CL or gets to the final. This being said, I would love to see Mou do any better with this set of Milan players and what Allegri would do with Mou has or has had to work with over the years.

All those old guys- Ale, Nesta, Totti, Seedorf, Pirlo- they belong to an amazing generation and I don't believe we'll get decent replacements for them after they retire. Maybe best generation in history of football, in all positions. Make a team from the best players of the Serie A in the 90's and early 2000's and it'll probably be the best team you can build from players of one generation.

Watching 35 years old Nesta stops Messi like that was so sweet. This little Argentinian pussy couldn't move and score a single goal in the good, old Serie A of the 90's and early 2000's.

I was totally on Milan's side today. Fuck Barca, I just hate them and all their 'fans' too much (and Busquets..I just hate him so much. Cunt). Today, Forza Milan.

I put it to a friend of mine last night that nineties Juve would have destroyed this Barca team.
