Penalty was the turning point obviously, Udinese played better over the two legs imo. But they rely too much on Di Natale, who faded away as soon as he missed the penalty. Obviously, like us, they sold important players without adequately replacing them. This game could have went either way, i'm dreading the United game now. United are on fire right now, i'm expecting a heavy drubbing to be honest.

They did, other than the second half today, they were always better than us. They created so many more chances, and were even a little unlucky to hit the woodwork so many times.

Meh Udinese played pretty well in some aspects in London but they still gave away a lot of chances and could have been buried.

They weren't that good and the praise they had been getting is just a sign of how low the expectations are on Italian clubs.

Judging by their circumstances, they lost 3 very important players, it was a good performance. They created more chances than Arsenal, they were extremely wasteful however, and that cost them dearly.

Agreed. Handanovic saved Udinese's ass repeatedly.

Really? I think Arsenal created a lot more chances.

And yes, their circumstances put it into perspective, but you're looking at it from an Arse point of view, thinking that it was horrible from your side.

I said this to Fred in the first leg, Italian clubs have the "shittiest" mentality in Europe. They may play well but the end they will always lose because they simply don't believe in themselves.

Its really weird, I've only noticed that with Italian clubs Not anywhere else in Europe. That happened with Inter before the calciopoli and it is happening now with Us. We lost many points with inferior teams in Italy because we simply have a shit mentality nowadays the same way Inter had a fucked up mentality for the past 15 years (pre-calciopoli).

There's definitely something to say about the negative self-defeating attitude of Italian clubs these days - they never back themselves in Europe anymore - It's like us against Lech Poznan - they were going for the win and were never intimidated or backed down, we didn't know what we were going for.

Not much of an achievement beating a weakened Udinese side. Now watch us lose by at least 3 goals against United, mark my words.

But you had your doubts in the first game, and i told you that your exaggerating.

mark my word, you guys will finnish top 4 in the premier league again this season "as always" nothing will change.

Don't even doubt it, wenger sold many many of his top players and replaced them with even better players through the years. If you still doubt wenger then you hardly know your club that much fred.
