Penalty was the turning point obviously, Udinese played better over the two legs imo. But they rely too much on Di Natale, who faded away as soon as he missed the penalty. Obviously, like us, they sold important players without adequately replacing them. This game could have went either way, i'm dreading the United game now. There's definitely something to say about the negative self-defeating attitude of Italian clubs these days - they never back themselves in Europe anymore - It's like us against Lech Poznan - they were going for the win and were never intimidated or backed down, we didn't know what we were going for.
