I think Boateng is being overrated here.

I hated Licht when he played for Lazio.

And Fred, i think Tre means van Persie has been a more important player than Messi so far. If the Balon D'or is won based on who's the best player in the world, then Messi should just be given it automatically but that's not the case, even though FIFA seems to think the same way you do.
That's what I meant :)

Stupid tactics from Milan last night.

Left the game far to often and there was almost always a huge gap between the defence and midfield.

Allegri's decision to play Aquilani over a more defensively minded player also hugely backfired; all three Barca goals came, at least partially, because Aquilani failed to track a midfield runner properly.

Milan should also have been more willing to play long and early to Ibrahimovic as, particularly in the second half, that was the only way they looked capable of getting the ball to the forwards.

Oh, and Robinho is just terrible.

Their midfield is garbage and this means they can't do shit against a team with a superior midfield, like Barca or us.

But yeah, Robihno is a joke at the moment

So sit back and hold position and shape.

Don't run around like idiots leaving heaps of space.

Everyone knows that you need to keep the centre of the pitch packed against Barca and force them to play down the sides.

Milan opened up and allowed Barca to stroll straight through the middle.

Agreed, they were suicidal tactics used by Allegri last night. They tried to go toe to toe with Barca in midfield and got destroyed there. Like you said, if they held their position and shape in midfield (and defence) they wouldnt have let Barca waltz into the penalty box so often.

I guess Allegri already knew Milan were through to the next round and wanted to see a more attacking style against Barca, but its surely a tactic that wont work if they are to play them again in the future. Entertaining game, nonetheless.

So Italy's 3rd best team beat England's 1st best team and lost to Germany's 1st best team.

I guess that means EPL stankssss

I would love to see shitty without Silva. He's like Pirlo for us for them. In fact, we probably rely less on Pirlo than they do Silva.

You got pretty close to seeing that against Napoli.

Rarely will you see a game in which he contributes so little.

They're saying just a contender though, not favourite.

Among other things, Napoli simply don't have the depth.
Depth will only be a problem if Napoli are still going for something in Serie A.

He still made some key passes though. Nasri is nowhere near as good as Silva and isn't half as good at making those amazing short through balls. Their quality overall would drop if he didn't/doesn't play.

It'd be pretty stupid for them to put all their eggs in a competition they aren't likely to win. They're already behind the pace in the league and finishing outside the top 3 would be a step back for them. They should consider coming out that group an achievement and anything further, a bonus.

I prefer to see this as "bad-boy" Milan
just waiting on Tevez. Balo, and maybe Melo to complete the puzzle :D

you know, I had prepped a scathing reply to your post but then saw your new avatar and decided to give you a free pass on this one :D
I'd rather we got Tevez. :D

Actually, I do like my team to have it's fair share of cunts, at least on the pitch. And I actually like all the players I mentioned of your team, except Robinho (never liked him) Ambrosini (never liked him either) and Boateng (for injuring Ballack prior to 2010's WC, I hate him).
