You're basically claiming Sneijder was a lucky bet, all based on that he flopped at Real. But all sorts of players flop at Real, it isn't a really great place for individual harmony and team unity unless you're a super Galactico. The exception is this season under Mourinho, IMO.

I don't think he necessarily means that Sneijder was a lucky bet. He basically says that Inter didn't have a chance to buy him when other big teams like Real wanted him.
