    He is a prick for signing for for the rival of a team he played for, but I have some respect for him for not allowing religion to get in the way of football.



    For the record:

    I support Aberdeen.

    I hate Rangers.

    I hate Celtic.

    I hate anyone who brings religion or politics into football.

    Ok, getting closer to the full list of 32 teams who will play CL this year. Just like last year 22 teams qualify directly while the other 10 teams come through two separate qualification processes.

    The 22 teams who are qualified are: Inter (Titleholders), Barcelona, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Milan, Lyon, Real Madrid, Roma, Shakthar Donetsk, Benfica, Valencia, Marseille, Panathinaikos, Rangers, Schalke 04, Spartak Moscow, Twente, Rubin Kazan, CFR 1907 Cluj and Bursaspor.

    The other 10 teams will be given in the next, final, qualification round. As said, they will be separated in two groups of 10 teams and the winners will proceed to CL groups.

    In the first (Non-champions) qualifications the final 10 teams left are:
    1. Sevilla 108.951 pts
    2. Werder Bremen 94.841
    3. Zenit St. Petersburg 61.258
    4. Tottenham Hotspur 56.371
    5. Ajax 55.309
    ----------------------------------
    6. Dynamo Kyiv 42.910
    7. Braga 39.659
    8. Sampdoria 30.867
    9. Auxerre 19.748
    10. Young Boys (SUI) 7.675

    5 of them will go to CL.

    In the second (Champions) qualifications the final 10 teams left are:
    1. Basel 48.675
    2. Anderlecht 42.580
    3. FC København 34.470
    4. Hapoel Tel-Aviv 27.775
    5. Sparta Praha 27.395
    ------------------------------
    6. Rosenborg 23.980
    7. Salzburg 19.915
    8. Partizan 13.800
    9. Žilina (SVK) 10.666
    10. Sheriff (MDA) 5.458

    5 of them will qualify.

    I am not sure yet, but I think that there will be seeded teams in the qualification draw so I believe Sampdoria will get one of Sevilla, Zenit, Werder, Tottenham and Ajax.

    I thought that there was no seeding in the final qualifying round, but I may be wrong on that.

    Btw, Real Madrid won't be seeded in the groups and they'll surely be in pot 2 (this can't change).
    I hope they won't get Milan, Arsenal or Lyon from the first pot and they get some really strong team like Inter or Chelsea, or even Manchester and Bayern.

    Historically, we have the upper hand over them :stuckup:

    I wouldn't mind them in our group. I think they won't be as strong as they should at the start of the season, perfect time to play them.

    I thought the same. I checked UEFA.com and they don't mention anything specific. They just give the uefa coefficient for every team and mention seedings, but don't say if it's the same for every round.

    Count me in, ive always loved this competition, that doesnt meant ill stop following it if were not in it.

    On a side note Young bern pulling a shocker and now with a chance to qualify :wth:

    I got a feeling samp wont make it.
