Oh and by the way I'm not arguing against the red for pepe it was a though call and most of the time i think it would go red.
But what I think, and this is just my opinion that such fouls will everytime be considered red against barca, while for barca it would be yellow most of the time
barca is on a whole new level of playacting. And them getting away doesn't help. How many times did they really got down and covered their face without any contact? And if we try to previous matches? How many do you think, then think how many times were they shown yellow cards for it? And then look how many times did they got people sent off? This is out of proportion it's too low of a risk considering rewards for them. I bet you to find me a team which dives so much et gets no yellows. You just won't find any, because others don't do it as ofter or are just afraid that to them it very much will end up in yellow or no red. It's that simple.
Thats simplistic way looking at it, but simple truth is almost everyone does it (some have it ingrained in their football culture more then others), and especially at high stakes games like this (heck we saw how Chiellini kept diving against Milan, and he usually doesnt at all). Dives in general rarely get players yellow cards as much as they should. Generally those who do it constantly on every game (and not mainly focus on higher stake games) and have a reputation for it gets singled out more. Like Di Maria, does it every single game (litterally), and gets occasional yellow cards when he gets too obvious. But in general footballers get away with dives and playacting.
lol, such a weasel, he is another kind of diver, he has specalized in faking to getting hit with arms or such that are unrelated to normal football scenarios of getting tackled.

I'm talking about these kind of divings, not when you act when you were kicked to get a foul. I'm talking specificaly about non existent hits, espeicialy face hits. These are barca speciality.
Too many Manure fans on this forum It's enough I have to deal with my dad singing the praises of that red faced alcoholic Ferguson and his bunch of Red Faggots!
Regarding the whole surrounding the referee, can you tell me a team, one single club, that does not surround the referee whenever there are rough challenges in a hotly-contested affair?

Why do people only notice Barca doing it?
Ok, tell me another team that does it in CL and find me a video. It shouldn't be a tough job because I will easily find videos of Barca doing it in CL.
Edit: And I don't mean tough challenges. Of course players will protest when one of their own is badly hurt. I mean non-existing fouls. Valdes comes all the way to the refs even when "fouls" like the ones in the video Mohad posted above happen.

Wish it was, because it would mean football is more innocent then it is. But Busquets isa norm in football, not a rare thing.
Barca are simply like anyone else, thats why you and others react against it, if they were the only divers or complaining on the ref constantly, then that would be great, hehe.
