1. I think Grygera was a "safer" bet. True that Zebina would've been able to attack more, but with his temper, I would say it's a 50%-50% chance he could get sent-off guarding "scarface" Ribery.

2. I'd be unsure about who to chose, for me Iaq and Trez are on par. They did deserve to start, however, it's a coin toss to decide who gets replaced.

3. True, we were already being beaten with the long ball game. If DP had played, it could've changed the game to playing the ball to feet.

One question I have over Ferrara was why introduce Poulsen for Diego? I felt this was a step backwards. DP could've replaced Diego in my opinion.

That decision pissed me off...

Our best player didn't turn up. He clearly isn't match fit. Fantastic run to cut out the Bayern counter after he lost the ball but after that he was just queit. Besides the way bayern were tearing us apart made it impossible for us to do anything but try to give support to Grosso & Grygera.
Diego altough not 100% did turn up he might didn`t create much but he controlled our attacking play rhytem and also made a good shot he didn`t give the peformance he is famous for but he was still important for our play +did an excellent job in helping the defence preventing a goal
after Diego was subbed our attacking play was non exist apart from a ball that got to Iaquinta`s turn around shot and Iaquinta`s shot (that he should have left the ball for Trez) which came from a foul on Van Buyten

a 50% Diego is still good it is just that a 100% Diego is awesome

Taking out Diego for Poulsen was a good decision. It killed off the match, by making the midfield tougher to break through.
:agree:
I wonder how it would've gone if we started with muzzling them & then switch to 4-3-1-2 when they loose steam. Someone will probably say hindsight is a beautiful thing but remember that we all knew our fullbacks were shaky.

Hmmm, my opinion is still the same.

If we played like the way we did last night, we can't win the UCL. For sure there are other teams playing much better than Bayern.

I hope we pick-up some momentum soon.
