Camo was awful?, that really does settle it, certain people are fucking diluded.
in my opinion he was....especially in the first half... i mean in the second half we didn't do anything...he tried to help grygera alot but he should have been send off. he had 5-6 fouls in a row.
and he lost some balls in midfield

Great result I guess. I like how Ferrara knew whats wrong with the back line after the first half and then we saw a different 2nd half from all defenders. Mission Accomplished!

Now, 6 points with as many goals as possible against the Israelis and we are in a good position.

MOM for juve Felipe Melo, IMO. Also, great 2nd half by Legro but he fucked it up in the first half. So, Melo was the most consistent throughout the match.

I ask the same questions as you, but as far as the question in bold goes, i think that Poulsen for Diego, even though it killed our chances to score (which we weren't doing anyway), it at least left much less space for Bayern and we kept the draw.
Bayern were/looked tired in the 2nd half and the only ones that kept running were Ribery and Lahm, others were just like us, dead men walking on the pitch.

Sometimes we do really have to take a risk, with the Diego Poulsen sub, it was pretty obvious that Ciro wants to draw and not even think of attacking the Germans.

We stole one point from Bayern tonight but it was obvious that was Ferrara's plan and it was so close to backfire. Had we not been that lucky in the first half the result would have been much much different. Fielding Diego and Camoranesi with two deep runners that play with their back behind the ball was obvious that it won't lead to any chances. Opting for Grygera over Zebina was a recipe to make Bayern have the calmest of nights on the left side. Grosso didn't help the other side either. Melo's presence in the middle was somehow redundant because it's the flanks we should have closed, not the center Ottl and Schweinsteiger weren't going to trouble us as they were both busy with Diego. In other words, Ferrara read the game wrong (again) and luck together with Robben's injury helped us survive a humiliation.

    Buffon 6.5

    Grygera 5
    Legrottaglie 6.5
    Chiellini 6
    Grosso 4

    Melo 6
    Camoranesi 6
    Marchisio 4.5
    Diego 5

    Trezeguet 5.5
    Iaquinta 4.5

    Poulsen 5
    Amauri 5.5
    Tiago N.R

    Ferrara 4

I'm just really annoyed by us failing to react when Bayern were clearly slowing down and making mistakes in the second half. I know we were really lucky in the first, but we could've pushed them more in the second.

Grygera looked fat, immobile and was out of position half the time. Didn't quite understand ciro's decsion to go with him instead of zebina who could at least give us more speed against ribery whereas grygera simply has none.

And thank god robben went off injured.

    Our performance 6/10
simply because chiellini was a rock and camo did his bit for the team and much more.

We must win these next 2 matches otherwise it's bye bye CL already, and we have a nasty habit of slipping up against the sorts of teams.

the hate on Grygera is BS...better RBs then him have been assraped by Ribery, the guy is just too damn good...in that case, Chiellini should not be excluded from the bashing either, he was totally fucked on that move in the 1st half

Bad game. Poulsen for Diego really really shocked me. Trez subbed instead of Iaq shocked me even more. We could have won in the second half. Fuck.

    Yeah, he wanted a draw.

Del Piero not coming on was something else though. He's not young anymore and it takes more time for him to recover fully and more time to get into form and Alex knows it too probably. It would be a huge risk to let him play even 15 minutes, imagine he gets injured for 2 months..it's hard, we still count on him a lot I guess.

Sorry to say this but Ciro makes even worse subs than Ranieri, I can't just believe the changes he makes

He takes out Trez who was fucking great, and puts in the excuse of a player (based on his current form) Amauri

He didn't remove Iaquinta for DP who along with Diego and Trez upfront could have changed the game.

He removed Diego instead of Marchisio and put Poulsen instead of Gio who can explode in such matches, I just can't belive what Ciro is doing......
Diego - Poulsen sub: We are playing against Bayern in Munich and Diego ran of puff. He couldn't run more. A sub was needed. And if a draw is what Ciro wanted then the sub was justified.

Trezeguet - Amauri: Unless DP is not fit to play part of this game I would have brought him in. But this is something we do not know.

Tiago - Camo: Did anyone even see how Camo looked while coming out. He was very exhausted.

We suffered alot in the first half. But we controlled the second half but did not create much. Its not like we were playing a mid-table team. Just look at Bayern's squad. They have excellent players in almost every position. I am happy with the result but I really wanted to win. We would have been very luck if Bordeaux's match finished 0-0.

i've seen nearly all the games in the last years...
if u thought we played a good game than that is your opinion but it is not mine... we were more than lucky with the point
i agree that we were lucky to come away with a draw but you have to realize that we played a very good team and were PWNED in the first 45minutes of the match. like i said before, we were lucky not to concede at least 2 goals but we didn't. we came into the match looking for the draw and thats what we did. if you thought the match was going to be a shootout then you are sorely mistaken. we didn't play terribly bad after the 1st half. the bottom line is that we got a point out of it.
