Yeah, that was supposedly the best league of the world champions and CL finalists and we played them on their turf. I call that hardly embarrassing, it's just that they are very hard to beat when they are concentrated. The game felt like a knockout rather then a group stage game.
All in all even if it was kind of negative football I liked the game, sad we didn't get any points but there is no reason to panic.
If one thing I could change about this game is not subbing in Giovinco, just because.

Okay, I'm usually not the one to vent after a loss, but this one just upsets me.
I'd prefer to have an open game and lose 2-0 or 3-1 or whatever, but this display is a shame.
This sort of play style is maybe understandable when you can pull it off, but this game and this result just showed Allegri for what he really is- a coward.
Zero shots on target. Zero. No more than maybe 3 attacking plays before the goal, the most dangerous chance we had was an almost own goal, and of course, late late changes when it's already pretty much over.
If he had put on a team that was there to win and have lost, I'd respect him a whole lot more.
But this is just same old. Cowardly attitude, that turns to shameful when it blows in your face.
Llorente was useless. Licht's fault on the goal.
Now we have to hope that we can get all the points from the other two teams or we're in for a replay of last year.

We really did a blunder on their goal,we werr so ineffective with the ball, no early cross no smart plays at all, we went back all the time because we had no confidence in taking them on at the front.Atletico didnt even play that well,but we really sucked overall though,the ref wasnt even half bad,he did some mistakes for both sides though, suprised at Vidals performance,was really quiet and so was pogba and evra. Pereyra should have come earlier for Vidal. All in all we kinda came for draw and didnt succeed..
So toothless.They were poor shame of a team and they scored.Why the fuck Alegri waits so long with the substitutions.As far as I see we did not shoot or maximum 2 times on the goal.Overall bad game bad we were awful.We went to the game not to lose.Why the fucj Alegri was playing Evra whole game ????

we played passive today, we created absolutely nothing and had no shots. Most of our play was passing from defense to midfield and back, passing to Llorente where he holds the ball and loses it. We wouldn't be able to score like that if we had 90 more minutes.
