So getting him now is possible again :weee: Genoa wants Ziegler so we can exchange :D
They are toying with Marotta as usual.

“It’s true, Ziegler’s name is very hot,” sporting director Rino Foschi told Telenord. “We are talking with Juventus about him, but it won’t be easy.

“At the moment there is no competition for him and he would complete our wide options were he to arrive.”

Foschi was also inevitably asked about Juventus’ interest in striker Ciro Immobile. “Enough of this, I can’t take any more,” he responded. “I say, for the tenth time, that he is not available for transfer.”

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has once again reiterated that striker Ciro Immobile will not be leaving for Juventus.

Reports this week have suggested that the Bianconeri had started talks with the 22-year-old, who they own a 50 per cent share of.

But the Grifone chief has rubbished those rumours, as well as commenting on the possibility of signing Reto Ziegler.

“Immobile is too important to us,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “We do not want to talk to anyone about him.

“Juventus may have hinted at his transfer, but we are not interested in what they have to say.

“We have spoken to Ziegler,” the 64-year-old added. “Negotiations are ongoing, but we are just waiting for the approval of the player.

“He could be the final icing on our cake.”
Fuck that cunt. does he not realise we own an EQUAL share in the player? Also why the hell are we co-operating with him on Ziegler? Fuck him and his shitty club, twatfeatures.

If they are unwilling to negotiate over Immobile then we shouldn't sell them a player who is going to strengthen their squad either. Once their relegation is confirmed Ciro should be much easier to sign in the summer anyway.
