For me , technique cannot be summarized in the specialty of each player´s position.
You can be a superb goal scorer but with zero technique overall like Trezeguet. He had top notch positioning and finishing skills, but was not overall a gifted player as a footballer.


Players like Zidane, Messi, Del Piero, C.Ronaldo... are players with superb technique in terms of ball control, passing, and dribbling.
