You guys have said SACK SACK SACK, and rightfully so, for the past few months. Yet have the board done anything about him? No.

The board will sack him and I would agree with them the same way I agreed with Ranieri's sacking, both with relief and worry. Like Ranieri's sacking, a mistake could be easily made by hiring the wrong coach, again.

So even if Farrara gets fired, still expect the worst for the next year.

Thats because were idiots. We should have kept ranieri for this season, and then made a change if things didnt work out. Ferrara was always a huge gamble, I mean really this season was full of hope and expectations, no room for gambling.

Jose Mourinho launched an impassioned defence of the Juventus Coach. “Nobody is giving Ciro Ferrara respect.”

Inter's 2-1 Coppa Italia quarter-final victory was probably Ferrara's last game in charge, as there are reports a caretaker manager will be brought in.

“We are men, we have families and it's not nice all this talk of every other Coach,” slammed Mourinho on RAI.

“Ferrara deserves respect. If the club decides to make a change, we know that is part of our job, but at least while we are still on the bench and working we deserve respect.

“Right now nobody is giving Ferrara respect. Nobody. But I respect him.”

Ferrara was meant to give an interview to the same television station after the final whistle, but he walked straight down the players' tunnel.

I guess this torment is over for him. I'd just love the media to eat the frog alive tomorrow instead of printing Ciro's sad face on the front pages again.

Ciro Ferrara again refused to resign and insisted “up until now nobody has told me anything, so I’ll lead tomorrow’s training session.”

Juventus were already expected to wield the axe even before tonight’s 2-1 Coppa Italia defeat to Inter.

“Up until now nobody has told me anything, so as far as I know I’ll lead tomorrow’s training session,” said the Coach.

The Bianconeri were leading up until the 70th minute, when Lucio and Mario Balotelli turned the quarter-final around.

“We were convinced that Diego Milito was offside on Inter’s equaliser. All it takes is 30 seconds to change a game, that offside flag would’ve transformed the story of the match.

“Let’s just say the referee’s assistant was not having a good day.”

Inter were also furious with the officials after Felipe Melo’s blatant handling offence on the stroke of half-time, but the referee only awarded a corner.

Ferrara spoke to Juventus Channel, but did not hold a Press conference after the match.

Juventus President Jean-Claude Blanc hinted Ciro Ferrara will be fired tomorrow. “We’ll make a decision.”

The club has so far stood by its Coach, but following tonight’s Coppa Italia exit at the hands of Inter, the situation has deteriorated beyond repair.

“We are very disappointed, as we have failed at another of our objectives for the season,” said Blanc after the 2-1 defeat.

“Tomorrow we will make a decision and when we have made it, we will let you know.”

Reports suggest Alberto Zaccheroni will be brought in as caretaker manager, making his debut on Sunday night against Lazio.

There are other rumours that Juventus will wait for Rafa Benitez to terminate his Liverpool contract in the next couple of weeks, but Blanc’s comments would imply the situation is more urgent than that.

Sky Italia claims that earlier today Benitez’s lawyers met with Juventus emissaries to discuss an exit strategy from Anfield.
