Well, if we signed a prestigeous coach like Hiddink, the situation at hand could work perfectly as sort of an alibi for him, and take away some of the pressure to achieve miracles at once. Say the official stand is he gets the rest of the season to build his Juve for the next season, and the only real goal this term will be to secure 4:th place and CL qualifications (quite an easy task really). That way, he gets 7 full months to create a team for the 2010/2011 season and only then is when the pressure to succeed starts.

Good times. Liverpool was major underdogs for that one, everyone saw it as a miracle they went through. Same thing with Arsenal the year after. How the situation changed after Calciopoli...
