You have no right to spout such rubbish. It's much more detrimental to his career to continue on this path of poor results. He could have resigned before, letting the club deal with it's own problems, but no, he's apparently tried to stick with it. That shows courage. While you may interpret it as acting in self interest, the more plausible scenario considering his history is that he does care about the club, which is why he's trying to guide the team through this poor spell. Whether that is best for the club isn't his decision, but rather the directors'. So get that straight first and foremost.

Secondly, Ferrara has stated to the media that if the directors believe he is the problem, then they should handle the situation. But they have not. That's not Ciro's fault, it's the board.

This utter nonsense about blaming Ferrara for accepting the job and then not giving it up needs to stop because it's tiring and foolish. The man has always shown the utmost respect for Juve even in spite of his poor coaching ability, so folks need to channel their anger a bit more correctly.

Enough with this nonsense already. You don't know the individual at all, so making a comment about something personal, like his dignity, is ridiculous and as useless as tits on a bull.

Also, there is no reason to draw parallels between Spalletti and Ciro - their situations and personal allegiance to their clubs are obviously quite different.
Ciro certainly wasn't up to the task, but this painful episode has become the boards fault, pure and simple. They have shown themselves to be completely inept and they should be removed...

We just got Candreva and i think Ferrara has a plan in he's head for the guy. Its pretty likely that he'll use him as a Camoranesi replacement as an AM on the right. He never had enough depth to play with 3 AM so probably thats what he really wanted to do so far.

Giovinco wasn't fit for the roma game so maybe he's gonna use him plus diego and Candreva as our 3 AM's.

If we can't get someone like Hiddink immediately then we might wait as well for two more games and see how things will look.

I agree with your sentiment in regard to people questioning the man's integrity and such. However, it's clear at this moment he either has too much pride, or is terribly stubborn (neither of which is exactly a great quality in such extremes). A man has to know when he's beaten and when to bow out gracefully, a point which he has long since passed.

That raises the question as to what exactly is going on behind the scenes. We don't know what sort of arrangement is going on with him vis-a-vis the board. Perhaps they've told him quietly to just slog on while they scramble to get something in order. If that's the case, it says more about their ineptitude and inability to run the organization, rather than his failings as a trainer (and to a lesser degree, a level-headed man).

That's the sticking point. We simply don't have all the facts, so making snap judgements and insulting Ferrara is beyond pathetic, considering his history with this club.

But what can one expect from some of the troglodytes on this board?
