Is Vialli really that bad btw? Looks like he did a pretty decent job with Chelsea when they weren't strapped.
One has to wonder why he hasn't had a job since he fucked up at Watford.

Vialli about coaching Juve

It would be nice

That was 1-2 week ago.
Are the rumours that he would be on a long(ish) contract or just a temporary thing to take the team through to summer?

So to sum the things up:

-Vialli (another Juventus legend to ruin his past)
-Gentile (gentamycin for my ass)
-Zacherroni (looserroni)
-Rijkaard
-van Basten (van bastard)
-Laudrup (lads up)
-Zoff
-Trapa
-Guus

and of course Ciro to stay

Those are our alternatives at the moment!

Nobody mentioned that.

They just say that our PROJECT is ruined so they gotta go for a new one now. Depends from the coach, it's probably a long term. At least for a year a and a half IMO.

If they are starting a new project, it is all the more reason to put up the cash to get a proper coach.

Guus should be our first and only choice at the moment. We need to just pay the man his damn money and suck it up.
leave it to our board to F things up

it's one thing to pay big money to a player but then it's another thing to pay big money to a coach who can harness the talent of your players and get the most out of them.

i'm not saying that the board should pay Hiddink whatever he demands but at least make an offer which his agent will actually bother telling Guus about.

the bottom line is that we need <insert any coaches name here> more than he needs us. and our board cannot not simply keep on running things the way the have and hope to field a suitable replacement.

I'd have to agree with that. And plus, I don't like short-term options, we need somebody to teach this team something and lead them the next season as well.

I guess we'll see tomorrow. I hope it's not just another rookie coach.

Looks like he set up a charity, wrote a book and got himself a job talking on TV. It's obvious Watford was a complete failure, but Chelsea seems quite different (if anyone can reveal how good he was then, do it). Definitely not my first option though.
