Ciro had a great teacher, who showed him all "old tricks" from the football's book.

Unfortunately, those tricks are too old, and everyone knows them well.

Ciro, get out please and do something else, or very soon we will struggle even for European place.

Here's the article for those that missed it...

Blanc: We're the same team Sunday 13 December, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus President Jean-Claude Blanc stands by Ciro Ferrara and reminds critics this is the best side they have had in years.

“It has only been a week since we beat Inter. Such an achievement should be embraced, even if we do have trouble against the likes of Bari the following weekend” he said after the 3-1 defeat to Bari.

“If Juve opened up the Scudetto race a week ago then it means they have the quality to achieve great things. What we lack is consistency and efficiency in front of goal, plus great strikers like Cristiano Ronaldo."

“For now fans should be content with the win over Inter, looking forward to our Champions League campaign next year.

“It’s not in the history of Juventus to change management, even if I proved differently a few months ago. The team is in my control. Ferrara is the Coach of the future and we will continue working with him to build the team for the next decade.”

Yet Blanc is the man who sacked Claudio Ranieri towards the end of last season and brought in Ferrara for their third tactician in as many years.

“Deschamps decided to walk away and it was his choice, not ours. We fired Ranieri and it was a decision we had to take in order to finish in the top two. We thought Ferrara would have learned a lot under Deschamps and Ranieri, and also Mourinho.”

It was still 2-1 at the Stadio San Nicola when big summer signing Diego ballooned a spot-kick over the bar.

“We had many opportunities, the ball didn’t go in and missing the penalty changed the game in my view. I think if that spot-kick had gone in, the match would’ve ended in a very different way, perhaps to a score of 3-2 for Bari.

“Important transfers can take a while to settle in, as seen with Tiago. After a couple years of poor form, it is nice to see him playing world class football again.”

God 2009 is the worst ever, I think these few years will always be remembered as the worst in Juve's history, I'm willing to wait for 5 years if we do like Arsene and build for the future, but with our transfer policy and tactical idiocy, I can't wait another minute

It makes everything so much worse when our president is looking for positives after yet another abysmal showing. This is where Blanc's lack of connection the club, to the sport in general, shows itself ugly and despicable.

But what I keep coming back to, is the financial prospects of our current very clear and continuing decline. The OWNERS must surely be able to understand that the value of the club is plummeting, and in any other business, even at most other football clubs, wouldn't they be chopping Ciro now???

Why don't they?

Because they want to appear honourable?

We sacked ranieri for financial reasons. We didn't look like grabbing second place. We are in the same situation with Ciro now...albeit worse, for we are likely to be aiming for 3rd place. Out of the champs league at the first stage. And generally performing like a team with no connection to the manager.

Didn't the Drughi have a role in not signing Stankoshit? I remember that I participated in a petition and I sent an email to stop that transfer, so why don't they start a "Revolution" ??

Blanc is an expert with business, he knows nothing about football
and he's about to lose a ton of money for this team with being knocked out of the CL, the Europa Cup next, and placing 5th in the division come seasons end

bye-bye bonuses, and bye-bye asses in the seats......

some expert at business

Uhh, if that "Revolution" consists of re-signing Marchionni to a long-term deal and playing monkey chants upon entering the stadium, I'm not so sure it would be worth it. :shifty:

is this guy for real. i haven't read so much BS in one page my life.

first of all, beating inter shouldn't be an achievement.
second, "What we lack is consistency and efficiency in front of goal". obviously, he thinks these are caused by nature.
third, cristiano ronaldo is not a striker
fourth, "The team is in my control". at least he is directing lapo on who should be sacked first.
fifth, is he saying ciro will be here until 2019
sixth, "Deschamps decided to walk away". you just opened the door and pushed him in that direction.
seventh, obviously he was watching a different game.
and last, he is saying that if melo and diego perform "as good as" tiago, then he will be satisfied.

for the moment, forget about ciro. just crucify this guy.
