I have a feeling that Ciro will stay. And will be looked after by Lippi. I know he might not have what it takes at this stage, but he has gained some experience being with Lippi, and it's like they saw it coming some day.

I read some news that Juve Mangement have met with Lippi to take his advise on who the next coach would be, and they have agreed for one or almost there.

If Ciro proves him self in the coming 2 games and surely we will feel the difference, maybe he stays.

Have you notice that all they do now is go to Lippi? WTF. man Marcello Lippi should be our new club president already.

I like Ciro i think he can really turn this squad around and i think he could very well be our Pep. I say give him a shot, and plus Lippi has taken him under his wing.

But should 2 competive games be enough these days for a coach to be deemed worthy to take over a team like Juventus regardless of his status as a player?

I think to coach a team like ours you would have to have some kid of proven track record.

Ranieri was always only supposed to build a squad then we were gonna go for a quailty coach.

Unless our board will count next season as stage 2 of the building stage and go for someone else the season after but that would mean ditching Ciro unless they mutally agree to part ways.

While I mostly agree with your point, but it seems that with this management, we are doing every thing but what Juve was built upon. So, why not this one

My confidence in Ciro keeps growing. He has the passion and knows what true Juventinos are made off. Let me list a few things he's done in 3 days:

1. Firing back at players to bring out the warriors in them.
2. Acknowledging the defence problem we have.
3. Last but not least, believing in his abilities as a true coach who can lead JUVENTUS at least for the coming 2 games.

Am I making any sense here?

Then we confirm Ciro as our coach for next year and end up finishing 3rd or 4th.

People on this forum will ridicule the board for not getting a proven coach and how we shouldnt of been taking risks in our situation.

I would love Ciro to succeed here I really would but I just think its time that we go with a proven coach and give him the time and resources to create a winning team.

If Ciro fails we will have taken 1 step back not forward.

I see what your saying, but I would only see Ciro finishing that far back if we has to play with the team we have now. But with an upgraded team with Diego, Canna, Criscito, a RB and maybe even a new CM or Forward...that is very promising and given the players we have now I think Ciro can lead them. We have great players and right now they need motivation. If you get them motivated again to kill on the field, most of our players are smart enough to take care of the rest. It is our weak links in defense that have been our Achilles heal all season long. You fix that, and I am confident Ciro will nail their asses to the wall, I think next season will be great. Even with an inexperienced Ciro.

All I am saying is, that if we get the players like Diego and Criscito back and one more great player and/or new RB then we will be much stronger next year.

Juventus patron John Elkann is already impressed with caretaker Coach Ciro Ferrara.

Ferrara has been given a chance to impress after replacing Claudio Ranieri for the last two games of the season.

After working as youth team boss and an assistant to Marcello Lippi for the national side, Ferrara has promising credentials.

“What is important is that we get back to winning,” Elkann told Juve's website.

“I think that Ferrara is capable and very convincing. He has what it takes to motivate this squad and get us the wins we need.

“We believe completely in the players and the Coach we have and for now it's just important to focus on the two remaining games.”

Ferrara makes his debut against Siena this weekend before a final-day test against Lazio.

I've been trying to say that, i got a good feeling about him. The guys respect him and he knows how to light the fire. I think he would be great, experience or not. Its about leadership and knowing how to get the best out of your players, that is something I think Ciro would be miles ahead of ranieri on.
