My thoughts on the defense in regards to Ferrara are as follows: I can see him having a lot of faith in Ariaudo next year (maybe even the next two games but that may be pushing it). Plus with a young talented back like Criscito returning will also be a plus and I am sure that should Ciro stay he will utilize all five Italians (well six counting Molinaro). Canna, Chiellni, De Ceglie, Criscito, and Ariaudo. That just looks great to me TBH. All Italian with Gigi, now lets get Motta to complete the puzzle. Giggigy.

Honestly one of the reasons why I like Ciro as coach is he will try to incorporate HIS youth players into the first team. He knows them better than ranieri ever did and for that I think we will be seeing some youth in our team. And actually playing, that is if he stays.

Not to mention I think he will also bring much more organization to our defense.
motta from roma? he is going no where prob

are you implying that spaletti will come to juve and motta will follow suit?
No. Simply implying that Spaletti may be "indirectly" related to Motta's tenure at AS Roma and that Motta may not want to stay at Roma should the coach leave.:xfinger:

I wonder what the chances are of Ferrara staying on for next season. Probably 10% if we destroy our last two matches and he can convince the management. But I have no idea about this.

I'm just hoping we are not stuck with Spalletti as I don't have confidence in the guy. Hopefully with a new squad, and new surroundings, he'll feel a bit better off if he does indeed sign.

Regarding Ferrara, if he does take the job next year by lucky chance, I could see him deploying the diamond in midfield with Diego (if we do indeed sign him (please God)). That would make the most sense, considering he's been learning under Lippi for ages. So at least that is promising.

I think so too, I even think he will field a diamond midfield already in these two matches with Nedved or Giovinco topping the four.

He may play Giovinco as an AMC and Nedved MC along with Zanetti and Poulsen DMC.

I was wondering the exact same thing after reading his comments. The management seem to have given him an indication that there is a chance that he would continue on next season. Its understandable to provide incintive but i wonder what are they thinking regarding next season.

The other thing that could be problematic is the fact that they are approaching players and making signings without a coach providing advise on the requirements of the team.

If ciro does a decent job in the next two matches, do you think that keeping him might attract italian players to join juve because of his history with juve as a player and with the azzuri as part of lippi's technical staff?
