quote the whole post mate, that makes what i said look a lot different....

And you cant even deny it. Ciro has lost more games in half a season than ranieri lost in 2 years. That says a hell of a lot about the difference in coaching ability between the 2. How you can even argue otherwise doesn't even really justify a response

I heard that if no Italian teams advance from Milan, Inter and Viola to the enxt round, Italy's seat become 3, that true?
for next year, and only if the german teams acumulate a certain number of uefa coefficient points to overtake italy. Whis is only going to be a matter of time

I'm not even blaming Ferrara anymore. Its all the fault of the board and the management who hired this guy in the first place and are refusing to fire him after 3 months of negative results. This is beyond pathetic.

It's unbelievable that he hasn't stood down or been sacked yet.

And I think as time goes by, Ranieri's time at Juve will be looked upon as a success. Considering the team and the circumstances, we achieved well. Granted he was very frustrating as a coach (selection, substitutions, man management etc.).

Ferrara: 'I'll find a way out' Saturday 23 January, 2010

Ciro Ferrara is disappointed with the Juventus crisis, but insists he will see it through to “find a way out.”

This week a summit meeting at the club headquarters resolved to keep the Coach in his place, but after tonight's 2-1 home defeat to Roma he's back on the chopping block.

“Considering what the lads put out there in terms of aggression, commitment and at times quality, we certainly deserved more. Instead we are here commenting on a defeat that is painful, especially in a negative period like this.

“I tried to say a couple of words to the squad in this difficult time, but I stayed behind a little longer to evaluate and consider the situation by myself. We did not discuss things further with the team.

“What I said to the players was that they put a lot of effort in and played for the victory. I think this squad has strength, character and grit needed to overcome this moment together. These are times when you need to be strong men and they are.

“There's no point hiding we are in a difficult situation. At times our defeats have been deserved, at times less so, but the fact remains we are quite far behind now.”

Juve are now five points adrift of third-placed Roma and with results this weekend could drop out of the Europa League spots too.

“Independently from the quality of the players, when you go through a period like this then some mistakes can be made. It's tough for everyone, including the whole team and myself. I'm disappointed with this situation.

“I was a Juventus player for many years, a director and now their Coach. If there's one thing I have in my heart then it is the desire to resolve this problem.

“With the directors we have discussed during the week about this moment. It's something that happens frequently in the last few weeks. All together we need to find a way out.”
Have a little dignity man!!!! Just leaaaaaave!!!!
Why is he trying to ruin everything including his former club and his future career???? What a stubborn donkey he is?!

I have changed my mind about Ciro. Sure he is very bad manager and he is not doing a good job, but well why should he resign when the board hasnt come up with a better solution. Its clear that Ciro wont leave even if he is doing badly, because at least he cares, he breads juventus and wants to make things better.

Our board is the one who should get the blame. Why are they not capable of making changes? Why cant we lure in WC coaches?

I am sure, things would have changed by now, if we had a proper management, a proper president, people who bread Juventus, and care about this club, people like Gianni Agnelli.

Shame on the young Agnellis. Its clear that people like Blanc and Gigli dont get the point, they havent lived with Juventus part of their lives, like the Agnellis have.

And here we are now, Ciro has been part of Juventus, he knows it all. The board doesnt. Sure he is doing badly, but he doesnt want to leave Juventus is such a bad moment. And now he is made the scapegoat in fron of the fans. Its not really Ciros fault, his not the one who decides who is managing Juventus FC.

Wake up Lapo and John! If you cant give your all for Juventus, then its time to sell the club, i dont care even if for some Asian megabillioner. At least it would be someone who would be 24h thinking about Juventus and its success. Not like people like Gigli and Blanc who care more about their own reputation.
