Hello, Liverpool fan here. I've just been reading through this page and it's quite encouraging to see that a lot of you appear to rate Poulsen despite the Juventus board/management thinking otherwise.

Can you give me a bit more of an insight into Poulsen's game, please? Who would you compare him to? Is he better than Lucas Leiva? What will he offer Liverpool?

As long as Poulsen keeps it simple and has passing outlets, he will provide Pool with a certain calmness and good positioning. I bet he'll do a good job sitting in front of the defense while Gerrard and Aquilani take a bit more advanced roles in front of him. Not sure what formation Hodgson will use.

The only worry I'd have with Poulsen is that the pace of the game might get to him when in possession. He isn't the best passer of the ball but in Italy he could complete passes when he wanted to.

I think he'll be implemented in the matches where things turn into a half field game or teams with slow, physical midfields. He's not going to be an everyday starter, but I think he'll be a big help.

Any thing from various versions of 4-4-2 to the 4-4-1-1 to the 4-2-3-1.

Not all employ defensive midfield players and he tends to change his formation to suit the players and the team he's opposing.

I recall him using five midfielders against us, but I was under the impression he was mostly a straight 4-4-2 guy. With Pool I could see him going with one striker.

Poor Turk, Poulsen's wages were so high that he couldn't afford buy an official Juventus pencil. He will finally buy an original jersey now that Poulsen is sold.
