Poulsen actually did OK in periods. We didn't lose the game because of him.

Actually Felipe Melo fucked up for the first goal, but I guess because he is a quality player that doesn't count, blame Poulsen instead. I said he had one of his better games, I didn't say he was particularly outstanding. Better than mediocrity is not brilliant. I am really not a fan of the guy at all, in fact in match threads I have crucified him at times, but thanks to the muppets in here who cannot watch a match objectively but prefer to hammer their favourite targets and then accuse anyone who has anything positive to say about them as fanboys. You know who you are.

In the first half in particular he covered and tackled back very well, also tried to get forward with his limited ability and pace. Second half it was open season on the defence, because we had so many people pressed forward. I guess that was Poulsen's fault too, not Ferrara's tactics.
