Why Ferrara prefer Tiago than Poulsen?
Is it only because there are clubs interested more in Poulsen than Tiago
or because we doesn't need another DM in like Poulsen but we still need MC like Tiago?
Good question but another question comes to my mind linked to that.

Did we drop our interest in Dago and went for Melo because our BOD saw there is no interest from other clubs for Tiago while there were some interested in poulsen ?!

Melo = poulsen and D'Agostino = Tiago (similar players but both Melo and Dago are an upgrade ).

So if there is a good chance we can sell poulsen and not tiago then to them (our BOD) they prefer to buy Melo over Dago for that reason.

Only-juve, good point! It's very possible.
Why should other teams get profit of converting some players to regista and selling them to us, when we can do the same with some our players.

who knows maybe this season Tiago could be our D'Agostino in this new formation.:xfinger: :xfinger:
I believe he could..he lacked confidence and Ferrara got that, i just hope that he'll be a regular rather than a bench warmer coz he really has the potential while Poulsen has that aggressive attitude that turns him into a blond bull sometimes..while he doesnt offer anything special to the midfield

Cobolli Gigli focuses on sales Tuesday 21 July, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has now shifted his attention to selling players rather than buying them.

The Bianconeri have been very ambitious in the transfer market this summer, spending £48m on new talent.

However, with an eye on the balance sheet, now is the time to try and recoup as much of that money as possible.

“I can confirm that, for now, we are thinking about selling, then we will make subsequent decisions,” Cobolli Gigli said.

“Now we have to balance the books.”

Asked if his comments were linked to reports suggesting Juventus are desperately trying to offload Christian Poulsen, Cobolli Gigli replied: “Yes…”

The Bianconeri orchestrated a £7m deal to sell Poulsen to Turkish side Fenerbahce, but the player's wife rejected the move.

Reports suggest Fulham have also been offered the Denmark international.

Poulsen agrees to Juve exit
Wednesday 22 July, 2009
La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Juventus have finally convinced Christian Poulsen to leave the club this summer.

The 29-year-old Denmark international who joined from Sevilla in a £8.5m transfer last summer is key to Juventus' plans for the remainder of the transfer window.

By selling Poulsen, the Bianconeri will be able to free up enough funds to sign Martin Caceres, the Barcelona and Uruguay international defender.

Considering he made just 15 starts in Serie A last season, Poulsen is particularly expensive as he earns around £2m a year in Turin.

Juventus had arranged to sell Poulsen to Turkish side Fenerbahce in a £7m transfer earlier this summer, but his wife apparently rejected the move.

After talks with Ciro Ferrara and Alessio Secco, Poulsen finally appears to have understood he is surplus to requirements in Bianconero.

Hoping to play in next summer's World Cup, Poulsen has now realised he needs to play regular first team football to do so which he will not find in Turin.

D'Agostino: Juve, I'm ready

Genoa scraped a 2-1 victory over a local side thanks to Giuseppe Sculli’s brace, but made a series of errors.

The Grifone have made big changes to their squad this summer and continued testing out the new-look side against Rodengo Saiano.

Sculli opened the scoring with a volley almost immediately, but soon after the minnows equalised when Guariniello pounced on a howler from ex-Parma defender Troest.

Genoa restored their advantage just before the break with Sculli’s second of the match.

They had the chances to win it, but Giandomenico Mesto and former Atalanta hitman Sergio Floccari could only hit the woodwork.
