i want us add 5 million to what we will get for poulsen(7.5 million,we will never get such an offer again btw) and buy Mamadou Diarra who is an obvious upgrade. I am sure he will make similiar impact of Sissoko if not same.
I agree. But you're surely aware that he missed the entire season with a very bad knee injury. He's not old, he's 28, but still such injury might result with an "Andrade scenario".
Aren't you afraid of this or it's a calculated risk for the money we're gonna pay?

Diarra is an upgrade on Poulsen, but the Dane ain't much worse and he'll be much more useful than a chronically injured Diarra.
I really can't decide on this one. :frown:

I think the fundamental difference is that Poulsen has settled & is accustomed to the lifestyle & team.We know what we have in Poulsen. As you said a chronically injured Diarra spells alot of uncertainty & he might not adapt to the team or even the country. The grass is not so green this time around imo.

if he wasn't injured there is no way we could get him. This could be our chance. we should let madrid stick with their lassana and use the opportunity. poulsen has a lot of problems with injuries too. one of biggest reasons of his failure was injury. i don't want another tiago case, we can't get rid of our players and i will blame nobody but secco aka sucko. players' agents are robbing the fool constantly and he doesn't learn.

So Fener offered him 4 mil a year (he's getting 3 mil in Juve), guaranteed first team football, and he still rejected.

I'm pleasantly surprised by Poulsen.

Look, people here don't quite get this. There is absolutely no point in dealing Poulsen away just to get Diarra on loan. The latter isn't much better than the former and has had major injury problems. Not to mention the fact we'd be without two players for a month most likely, meaning that Sissoko's substitute will not even be able to play in his place.

It's stupid. I wasn't for the Poulsen signing, but now that we have him and can't get a meaningful sum for him, keep the guy. He's not an entire disaster and should be better next season.

Staying to prove himself after a less-than-ideal season and having Buffon, Chiellini, Sissoko, Marchisio, Camo, Diego, Giovinco, IQ, Amauri, Del Piero, Trez as team mates probably convinces him, Juve is the place to win things.

And I agree Diarra is not miles better than Poulsen.

Add to that, we're "probably" spending 15-17 mil euros on a player who would be a backup for sissoko !! Does that make any sence.

Poulsen is allready in the team and he'd do a decent job as a back up to sissoko.
